Summerset Shore University, Book 1
Tyler
Tyler, a calm and gentle soul, is set out for great things both on and off the field. As the star quarterback of Summerset Shore University’s esteemed football team, he is NFL-bound. With the perfect girlfriend by his side and a tight-knit group of friends who share his love for the game, Tyler is set for a life of success and fulfillment.
Until a new voice speaks up.
Jace
Jace, an enigmatic exchange student from Amsterdam, arrives at SSU with a bang, quickly making a name for himself as the new lead singer of the university’s favorite band. But there’s one thing that he didn’t have in Europe and hopes to find here.A family. A place to call home. Deep down he carries a profound sense of loneliness, yearning to discover a place to call his own.
While Tyler King would rather be enjoying life quietly from the sidelines, Jace Janssen is drawn to the spotlight like a moth to a flame. Their paths, destined to intertwine, will take them on a journey that they never saw coming.
Jace wants something he doesn’t dare to hope for, while Tyler hopes for something he doesn’t even know he wants.
JACE is the first book in a full-length MM trilogy romance and tells the story of a bi-awakening. It’s a strangers-to-friends-to-lovers, medium-burn, high-steam sports and rock star romance.
If you love banter, don’t mind the occasional duck wandering around in the story, and are a sucker for long love stories revolving around the same couple—including shenanigans from their loving, idiotic friends—then don’t hesitate to pick this up!

After a while, a group of women stroll along the shore, stealing glances in our direction as they pass. Jace nods at them, flashing a crooked grin.
“Do you ever stop flirting?” I inquire, watching as they giggle and continue on their way, occasionally looking back.
“What?” He feigns innocence after finishing his last bite, still observing. “They were checking you out too.” He turns his gaze back to me, his eyes wandering over my chest and abs, the corner of his lower lip caught between his teeth. “And rightly so.”
“You’re at it again.”
“What? Flirting?” I nod. “You seem to enjoy it.” He winks, then cracks open a Gatorade and drinks, eyeing me as he does so.
I just stare. Well, damn, maybe he’s right. Not that I’m into him or anything, of course not, but he showers me with more compliments and attention than my girlfriend does. He genuinely listens when I talk to him about whatever, and it’s clear he appreciates it as well. It’s addicting, a nice change.
That’s not good now is it? I really need to talk to Kaylee, figure shit out. It’s not even the stupid fight from last night that’s bothering me so much; it’s the dwindling attention whenever we manage to meet. If she even wants to meet up at all. So far, the first week back in college wasn’t that great. Relationship-wise, that is.
“Thinking mighty hard over there,” Jace remarks, nudging my bare shoulder.
I inhale loudly and slant my head his way. He’s staring at me intensely, a small frown in between his stormy gray gaze. “Nah, it’s nothing, I think. But is it normal to hit a slump after only two years of dating?”
Jace’s brows soar. “Already huh? I don’t know? It sounds like a bit quick, but I’ve never had a serious girl- or boyfriend for the long haul, so I might not be the best person to advise on this.”
“Never been in a relationship? Why not?”
A half-smile tugs at his lips. “I don’t have any trouble with hookups. Obviously.” He gestures toward himself.
“Obviously,” I reply with an eye roll, suppressing a grin as he chuckles.
“But every time I tried to make it more than that, it just never worked out. I must be incredibly unlovable, so I eventually stopped trying.” He pushes his hair back and gives me a grin that doesn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Well, here’s a suggestion.”
“Hit me.”
“Maybe actually get to know someone before you stick your dick in ‘em? Might help.”
“Maybe I like it better when they stick their dick in me,” Jace’s low voice rumbles.
I wave his comment away with a suppressed grin, leaning my elbows on my knees afterwards. “I mean it, first you date, then you have sex. You’re doing it backwards.”
“I like doing it backwards.”
I stifle a laugh by burying my face in my hands. The guy’s incorrigible.
“What’s your favorite food?” he suddenly asks, and I lift my head, arching an eyebrow.
“Italian. Why?”
“You mentioned getting to know someone before I fuck them, right? Fancy a pizza tonight?”
I snort. “Pizza is always a yes, but I’ll skip the fuck.”
“Good, I heard from a trustworthy source that you’re not supposed to put out a first date.”
“It’s not a date,” I deadpan, though a grin creeps through.

About the Author:
N. Boeyer grew up in a tiny country called The Netherlands. She has been bilingual since she couldn’t wait for the Dutch translations of the Harry Potter books, so she taught herself English. This resulted in her pursuing an English education from the age of twelve, and writing stories followed shortly thereafter. Since she was a teenager, it has been her dream to be a writer, and a writer she has always been at heart.
It took her a while to accept that the pretty boys who talk way too much in her head needed a voice, and her love for gay romance grew bigger with every written word and chapter. She has finally found the guts to share her boys with the world and hopes someone out there will love them as much as she does.
