REVIEW:
A brand new MPREG paranormal series AND a new-to-me author (along side one of my favorites)…double win!!!
Joe’s life is just drudging on. Bills that he has no money to pay for are due. Life is mediocre at best. But an invitation to a swanky, all-inclusive hotel and just having to sit through one of those boring sales pitch’s…that’s a no-brainer…yes please! What he never expects it that there are otherworldly creatures that frequent this hotel and one huge demon with horns has got his number. But can a huge horned Demon Lord’s most valuable aide/warrior and a meek IT guy make a go at it…especially when a surprise knotting results in a omega pregnancy!
These two cracked me up. It was obvious that they were drawn to each other. I’m not entirely sure some other magic (by someone else) might have been happening in the beginning but these two didn’t need it after they gave in to their attraction.
I think I loved Joe’s Granny and her new boyfriend “Haddy” almost as much as I fell for sweet Joe and his surly Alpha Bael. And watching Bael and his old boss compete was comical. Who would ever imagined two demons would compete at baby shower games. It was freaking hilarious. Add in the concierge Connie and Bael and Joe never stood a chance. I look forward to seeing all these characters again that we have been introduced to. Freddie even grew on me by the end. I am really hoping his match with an Otherworldly Alpha is next because it is just what he needs.
I am really looking forward to many more stories in this series and hope to see Joe, Bael, Granny, Haedrel, Connie, little Belladonna and even gruff old Bob, the bell captain, soon again. This is a wonderful start to what promises to be a very interesting and delightful new series.
