Chai Love You A Latte by F.A. Ray
Boyfriend Café, Book 3
Loving him is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Being just a friend? Not so much
Gabriel
I’ve loved my best friend Trent since the day we met. The only problem? He’s straight, and I’m definitely not. Our differences have never come between us, but sometimes the line is so blurry I don’t know where “friend” stops and something more begins.
And Trent is really not helping matters.
We’re so close people mistake us for brothers or lovers. He’s my favorite pillow to sleep on, my favorite shoulder to cry on, my favorite arms to fall into. Is friendship really all this is or dare I try for more with the man I’ve always loved?
Trent
When Mom left, it broke something inside me. I’ve been a loner ever since, terrified to hold on to anyone. There are only two people in my life I dare to trust: My dad and Gabe.
Maybe I’m a little clingy with Gabe, a little too affectionate, but he’s half of my world. If he ever left the way Mom did, I don’t think I could take it.
When things between us start blurring the line between “friend” and something more, it terrifies me. I’ve only been with women. What if I mess this up? What if I’m so bad at it that Gabe hates me? What if I’m not good enough and he leaves?
If being with him will push him away, maybe I’m better off stuffing these feelings away.
Chai Love You A Latte is a childhood friends to lovers MM romance with a bisexual awakening, first time experiences, spicy open door scenes and co-dependent best friends who turn into so much more.

“You don’t need to be ashamed,” he says. “We’re both guys. It happens. It’s normal.”
“Yeah but…”
“Look, it happened to me too,” he says. “It’s fine.”
I do look. I don’t know why. I’ve never wanted to check out a guy’s erection before. Yet that’s where my eyes go. And the dark isn’t dark enough to hide the way his shorts tent.
“It’s been a stressful few days,” Gabe says. “If you need to, like, let off some steam, I won’t judge you.”
Let off some steam. Right here. Right now. With him in my bed staring at me.
“Won’t that make it more weird?” I say.
“I don’t know,” Gabe says. “But if we both want to do it, why should we pretend we don’t?”
He watches me, his hand trailing down his body. My eyes follow that hand to the elastic waist of his shorts. When it disappears inside and he grabs himself, it instantly makes what’s inside his pants more obvious.
My hand is moving before I can think too hard about what I’m doing. I go for my boxer briefs, which are going to hide a hell of a lot less once my hand is inside them. I hesitate at the band. My excitement is clear, and so is his, but this definitely isn’t something friends do. A kiss might be a mistake; this is deliberate.
“Trent.”
His voice drags my eyes up to his. Mirror images but not really. His have always been so much brighter.
“Do whatever you want to do,” he says. “Whatever happens, I’ll be here in the morning.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, as long as you want me here.”
My hand slides under the band. His eyes flicker down and back up.
“I want you here,” I say, only a little shaky.
“Then I’ll stay.”
