REVIEW:
Finally the BIG DAY has arrive!
After reading the first three books in these short novella series The Kings: A Treemendous Christmas, the day we have all been waiting for is finally here! Upon the Kings and the Boyfriend Collective’s arrival in Winterhaven, Leo has started a project that no other member of the family knows but he did promised them that if he needs help he would readily asked for it. But Leo has been so secretive, King respected him so much that he has complete trust that if he does need help he would not hesitate to ask for it.
Leo and King have been together for five years by this time. King and his brothers were sent to protect Leo when they met. Leo is a genius and at the time, he was contracted to develop a highly important/hyper-sensitive program that required him to be protected.
Ever since meeting Leo, King Ward has mellowed down some (not a lot because with the likes of Ace and Lucky in the team, he can never fully put his guard down..snickers), and he knows that all of it is due to this very important person in his life, Leo! So when Leo started being secretive about this special project of his, he is intrigued but not enough to disrespect Leo by snooping or forcing the information from him. He will wait it out because as long as Leo is happy at what he was doing, so was King.
Amidst all the chaos and activities, what with preparing Winterhaven for the Christmas holidays and living with their family (it does not make a boring Christmas holiday at all), all their days are hectic which made what Leo is doing more intriguing and surprising in the end.
When the Kings, led by King of course, finally arrived at the blue room of the Ice Castle with the orders to dress up for their Christmas photos, what they found was more than they ever expected. Leo has prepared something that he has thought about a lot, something that he wants with King and hopefully what King wants too, now, not in a few years. It was magical and perfect!
I love, love all these novellas Ms. Charlie Cochet, thank you for giving these to us, we have missed the Kings so much and it was really great to read about them again. Congratulations!
