All of the prophecies come to a head in this final Dragon Propehcy book…
Everything is changing so damn fast that dragon shifter Jules Cuelebre can’t keep up. Good thing his family in Santa Fe now has Gavin Castellan, an experienced dragon alpha, to help them. And if he wants more from Gavin, well, that’s his problem. Until Gavin proves that they’re in this together.
Gavin is glad he managed to make it to Jules before the mountain started closing in and sealing the dragons away from the human world, because he’s convinced Jules is his mate, and they need to be together to face both the shadows and the light that find them as their world shifts around them, bringing new kinds of dragons, a slew of dragon babies new and old, and, if they’re brave enough to grab it, a whole new world. Can they make it across the dragon veil?
REVIEW:
It’s always hard when a series comes to the end. But what an end they came to!!
Finally we meet the “Boss” Gavin Castellan and it turns out that Jules has snagged the man. Go Jules. They say to save the best for last. And I loved Andy and Puck so much but worried about the oldest brother and him finding a mate. Especially with their Mom and Mama’s disappearance and the mountain seeming to be swallowing their home. But when the twins Dustin and Austin (Andy and Puck’s mates) Boss shows up it obvious it’s pretty obvious that my fears were for nothing. The huge Golden Dragon Billionaire that funded the Dragon Conservation sets his sight on the oldest brother that is his mate the moment that first spark happened.
I’m thankful that we got to see all three brothers meet their mates and that Jules didn’t resist Gavin too much. I know that Puck was scared of Austin at first but I think Jules was smart enough to know that you can’t resist what fate has destined. I loved that they all took that brave first step and went with what Lia was telling them. It was a giant leap of faith but they all just knew that they had to follow what was being put forth and Lia had direct connection to her Grannies.
This series has been filled with so many wonderful paranormals. We have met dragon shifters that have found their mates. Bear shifters that have become found family. Gnomes that have become allies and friends. The triplets are half dragon and half fae. There are faes and brownies. And we can’t forget the familiars too. And they all work together for the good for all. This is such a acceptive and colorful universe that leads to hope and understanding that just because they are different doesn’t meant that someone is scary. Working together for the good for all.
And we can’t forget about all the new babies gracing this universe. You just know that each one of them will be as unique as their parents are and are graced with their own special magic and powers.
I kinda came into this universe in the middle with the Solitary Dragons leading me to the Prophecy Dragons. I missed all the dragons and their stories that lead up to this series in the Dragon Veil Universe. We have hear the three Cuelebre brothers talk to them but I didn’t know who the were or how they came to be. I need to go back and pick up their stories now that they have crossed over into the veil together. I love that all these magnificent dragons can finally be themselves in a place where they can allow their children to grow up being who they are without fear of attack by the evils that they had faced. What a wonderful way to end the Cuelebre family story.
