REVIEW:

Our Holiday Adventures with the Kings continue and this time we have Joker and Gio at the center of it.

Now we have been joining the Kings in their holiday adventures in Winterhaven, a small Christmas-themed town where the Kings are trying to fix things up so that the town can have its usual holiday celebrations. As we have learned, due to a strong storm, the town had to cancel this year’s celebration which means no festivities and no business.

Amidst all the repairs that they need to do, a slight mishap befell our beloved Joker, he fell down a ladder and had to have his leg in a cast. Now he is more grumpier than usual. And with it came other fears too. He loves his boyfriend so much but the thought of going through a wedding just like Ace and Colton’s gives him the hives. When he told Gio about his fears, Gio told him that no matter the circumstances, what is more important to him is that Joker becomes his husband nothing else. Add to that the fact that Gio’s ex has been invited to town to help celebrate and help the town entertain more guests. Joker saw that they fit more better than he and Gio are.

Gio has had his own health scare a few years back and he had to stop travelling around the world in order to get better. When he met Joker, he knew that they had something special, something worth getting better for. He has met the love of his life and he is never giving him up. When Joker got the wrong impression about his ex, he had to nip that in the bud, telling his ex that there will never be anything more for them, just friendship and if that is not enough then it is better for her to not be in his life.

Joker and Gio are perfect for each other, they complement each other, all their friends can see that! Their love for each other makes them complete, and with their fur babies, they are a family.

These short novellas are giving me all the feels, for our boys and for the holidays. I can’t wait for King and Leo’s book next. Ohhh, that is really something to look forward to!
