From ex-con to self-made millionaire, there’s no challenge too tough for Cash Sweeney to conquer. So why has he spent twelve years pining for his best friend instead of doing something about it? Because losing Nick would be like existing with half of his heart. Is it better to settle for what he can have or battle for what he wants?
Banged up and burned out, FBI Agent Nick Scott arrives at Redemption Ridge with a trunkful of luggage and a yearning heart. Cash is easy to love but hard to read, and Nick fears his epiphany has come too late. Does he tuck his tail and run or fight for the man who’s become his home?
Tender gestures and heartfelt conversations lead to thrilling revelations neither man can ignore. No more what-ifs or maybes. Cash and Nick are all in. And they’ll need each other more than ever when a devious enemy emerges from the shadows to put their promising future at risk. With the stakes so high, will the guys double down or fold to pressure?

REVIEW:
Disclaimer- Saints Like Him is the third book in the Redemption Ridge Series. This series is not a stand-alone and needs to be read in order. Characters from the previous two books are mentioned and a multi book story arc makes it incredibly important to read the first two books. The world building is. kicked up a notch in this one, as the characters are dealing with a lot of issues and complications. This book was my most anticipated read of the series. From book one I wanted to get my hands on Cash and Nick’s story. The unrequited feelings and the way they danced around each other in the previous books, aroused my curiosity about their history. Aimee does not disappoint with the character development or the prose in this third story. Witty banter intermingled with sexy talk, creates a wonderfully fulfilling story. Found family continues to be a main underlying theme of this series. Low angst also continues to permeate the series, as well, and I love that. There is the perfect balance of intrigue going on and angst level. I can honestly say that I was not disappointed in this book. It ended up being a one evening read for me, I couldn’t put my eReader down, as I soaked up all that is Cash and Nick.
“Good morning,” Cash said casually.
Harry tilted her head to the side and studied him closely. “Are you feeling okay?”
The question caught him off guard, and he fought the urge to look for a reflective surface. Had he forgotten to comb his hair after the shower in his haste to check on Nick? Was the lack of sleep etched on his face? He’d slept great once they’d returned from the hot tub but not for long enough. Broken sleep had always fucked him up.
“Whoa,” Harry said, holding up her hand. “You’re thinking way too hard over there. I only asked because you haven’t harassed me about bringing out the pumpkin spice already.”
Cash repressed a relieved sigh and laughed instead. “You didn’t give me a chance. I only wished you a good morning.”
“That’s my point,” Harry said. “You usually start off with ‘pumpkin already?’ Then we debate the appropriate flavors for the ’ber months before you concede and wish me a good morning. It’s an entire thing for us. Forgive a girl for worrying.”
I love how Aimee has made the side characters just as much a part of the action as the main characters are. I also found another couple, well they are not a couple yet, but I hope they will be. Seth and Rueben need their own story. Even though there are some heart-wrenching moments in this story, you need to run to your favorite eBook purchasing site and snatch this book up as quickly as possible. I’m can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.
