BLURB:
I’m a nerdy, neurodivergent librarian who lives a quiet life in the mountains. While out birdwatching one day, I stumble upon a giant of a mountain man bathing in the lake.
Naked.
I manage to run away, hoping he didn’t see me.
And then he shows up at my library.
Something about him lures me in. Sure, he’s tall, bearded, and insanely gorgeous, but there’s a gentle curiosity in his eyes. And when he looks at me, it’s like he’s trying to understand me…
Orrrr maybe I’m imagining it.
Yeah, that’s probably it. I mean, why would a handsome, barrel-chested lumberjack like Branum be interested in a Mr. Plain and Boring like me?
REVIEW:
That was a wonderful story. We meet Branum Duncan our giant mountain man, who lives in the mountains and would never trade them for the city, and we meet PJ the tiny nerdy neurodivergent redhead, who is the librarian of the small town and loves this life in the mountains.
PJ had a hard life in the city, bullied, and making fun of his OCD was easy to trade for the quiet surroundings of the mountains and his work at the library. He loves to hike and birdwatching. On one of his hikes, he watches a giant man take off his clothes and take a dive. That’s something else than watching birds. Still, afraid to be discovered, he runs.
Branum has to meet the gorgeous redhead who was watching him take a swim.
So it be.
“Why are you listing all the things I like about you?”
Watching PJ bloom from a nervous uncertain guy trying to keep everything balanced, to a funny daring guy who feels so loved by his protective mountain man was… swooning!
Branum would move mountains for his lovable librarian.
An adorable read, moving, fun, endearing, and sexy, there’s so much to enjoy.
The whole story is awesomely written, as expected tbh.
Can’t wait to meet the story of the third mountain man brother Marsh Duncan!
