REVIEW:

Oh Kim Fielding!  You have done it again.  This story is just so beautiful.  It literally brought a tear to my eye – the best kind of tear.

Chrys is dealing with the loss of his husband two years earlier.  He mostly is doing well.  But the motorcycle he bought for his husband Jeff is still sitting in pieces.  He wants someone to take it and love it like Jeff did.  He tries to give it to a friend of Jeff’s but she refuses.

While working at the art gallery that holds some of his deceased husband’s work, a man shows up.  Bobbi, the friend that Jeff tried to give the bike, has sent Monroe to find Chrys and look at the bike.  Monroe loves the bike, but he can’t afford it.  It’s the holidays though and a gift can be given again, can’t it?

Jeff and Chrys realize there is more between them.  When Monroe come back on the bike that he has restored, they act on their attraction.  Chrys doesn’t know what to do.  He’s got a secret that he’s not sure he can share again.  But he can 🙂

This story is simply gorgeous. I loved every single word.  This is really a perfect story.  So complete in 46 pages!  I feel like Ms. Fielding can write in any genre and make me fall in love with the characters and setting.  This was no exception.  Really really a lovely example of a perfect story of new love for some men who have been through some stuff.
