Synopsis
Quinn Hampton can hardly believe his eyes when he sees his former lover, Dash Thatcher, buying beer at the Quick Pik in their quiet little hometown of Lost Lake, Tennessee. It’s been three years since they last saw each other at high school graduation, but it doesn’t take long for the two to catch up. A few beers lead to an invitation to spend the night at Quinn’s family lake house while it’s being restored for the summer. The two wake the next morning and eagerly make up for lost time, naked and writhing in each other’s arms.
But Quinn and Dash aren’t the only two ex-lovers reuniting this summer. As they saunter into Brickhouse Brewery for a little hair of the dog the next morning, the two run into Haley Newcomb, former classmate and, unbeknownst to the men, each one’s former lover.
As the day unfolds, secrets are revealed, old flames are reunited and Quinn, Dash, and Haley must confront the 600-lb gorilla in the room — their longing for one another and how right it feels to share. At the same time. Together. And, once the idea of a threesome is finally spoken aloud, it’s not long before the ex-lovers are reunited in more ways than one. In more positions than one. As often as they can, for as long as they can. Now all they need to know is if they want this reunion to last.

“You mean that?”
Haley glanced over at Quinn, so casual and breezy atop his rusty old beach cruiser as they pedaled along the quiet sidewalk that ran along Sycamore Street through the heart of downtown Lost Lake.
“Sure, I mean, Dash is crashing at my place for awhile, I just stocked the fridge and…”
Haley nodded, belly taut with the implications. “It was nice seeing you two today,” she hedged, pedaling slowly as if to consider her options before having to turn off onto Pine Street a few blocks further along their path. Quinn’s shy, sexy smile, his short, almost feathery black locks rustling gently in the breeze and his clean shaven face made him look all of sixteen again.
Not that she was complaining, mind you.
Just seeing Quinn again, those marble smooth biceps poking out of his faded t-shirt, the veiny forearms, the hollow cheeks and his thick, sensual lips had led her way beyond distraction and straight to downtown Sin City.
“Was?” Quinn chuckled, swerving gently as if to spook her. She giggled despite herself, forgetting how playful and spontaneous Quinn could be. She recalled those half-dozen secret, stolen, sexy hookups, her cheeks aching from laughter as much as her thighs shook from the multiple orgasms he always promised, and delivered, in his randy late night booty calls.
“Is,” she corrected herself, gradually making her decision as the sultry summer evening caressed her bare arms and warm, blushing face. “Is great seeing the two of you tonight. And it’s been so long since I’ve seen old… friends.”
They glanced at each other then, as if on cue. He smiled, nodding as they gently pedaled, side by side. “Same,” he murmured with an approving nod. “So it’s a date then,” he rushed on, as if speaking quickly might seal the deal whether or not she’d actually agreed to join her former lovers—both of them, each one as sexy as the other in their own, unique ways—at Quinn’s family lakehouse. “We’ll chill on the porch for a bit, drink cheap beer, order a pizza or two and when Dash gets back, catch up on old times.”
Despite her outward hesitance, Haley could literally think of nothing better. Literally. Not that she’d show Quinn that, of course. She’d always regretted showing up on his doorstep so quickly those few times he’d texted, randomly, out of the blue. It was such a cocky, alpha move of him to hit her up like that and, yet, like clockwork, Haley would appear, panties left back at home in a drawer and shoes in hand so as not to wake up his parents as they traipsed up the stairs to his bedroom in the middle of the night, and ending with Quinn’s big, pale hand clasped tight to her mouth to mute her high-pitched squeals of absolute and utter climax.
The memories gave Haley shivers where she’d long forgotten she could shiver, and tremors where tremors had feared to tread for far, far too long. She was older now, Haley told herself. Wiser, too. She wouldn’t be so obvious this time.
“You act like it’s something we’ve done a hundred times before,” she noted casually, the simple act of pedaling her own state of the art mountain bike a welcome respite after another long week of running the family brewery from dusk to dawn each day.
“You’re right,” Quinn murmured, the quiet moonlight accentuating the soft, alluring gleam in his eyes. “I’ve been struggling to think of a time where the three of us all sat together for quite that long.”
“Or ever,” she noted. “I mean, it’s not like we ran with the same crews back then, Quinn.”
“No,” he acknowledged sweetly, lips full and moist and oh so kissable beneath another summer moon, so much like the one he and Quinn had kissed under so many summers ago. Kissed and more, while Haley watched, dumbstruck and panties damp on the shores of Lost Lake. “You’re right, Haley. I’ve often wondered what life might have been like if we had, though. You know?”
