Who are we? Like you even need to ask. We’re the seven richer-than-sin legacies causing debauchery at the prestigious Astor University in Manhattan.
Some call us spoiled.
Some call us trouble.
But everyone calls us the Park Avenue Princes.
Weston LaRue
“The Playboy”
I’m never one to turn down a bet. Especially not when it comes to retaliating against the dean for pulling a dick move before summer break.
So when the dean’s golden child arrives at Astor for his freshman year, my fellow troublemakers throw down a wager I can’t resist.
The target: the dean’s son, John Thomas Hawthorne, or “JT.”
The bet: corruption in any way I choose.
It should’ve been easy. With his mess of brown curls, pouty lips, and good-boy reputation, JT is the perfect revenge. And even better? He’s straight.
Challenge accepted. I’ll do whatever it takes to prove a point, no matter how reckless it might be.
Game. On.
Infamous Park Avenue Prince is the first standalone novel in the Park Avenue Princes world.
REVIEW:
It is always a pleasure to see a new release from these authors in my book and this is no difference.
In this new release we get to meet the park avenue princes, especially in this case, Weston LaRue, West.
Where we also get to meet the other princes and let me tell you I cannot wait to see what more stories the authors have in store for us. This first book centers on West and JT, son of the dean of Astor University where both men go to college.
As the blurb says this all started with a challenge but grows into more.
Straight JT and flamboyant West – that has disaster written over it but West wouldn’t be West if he wouldn’t be up to a/the challenge.
All princes know that they have money and status and act like it and this is no different for West.
From the moment he has set his eyes on his “target” he goes all in. Pulling all kinds of stuff out of the closet to become friends with JT.
I loved the connection between West and JT, their differences but the easy friendship that seems to form between them.
The authors build up slowly to JT figuring out how to deal with the attraction he is developing and I commend them for that.
The writing is as always immaculate, it flows and is easy to read and works out fine, as usual for the story.
The chemistry is there though and it makes you very connected to that and these two guys.
You can feel the drama that is coming, there is no surprise there, lets face it you see it coming from miles away with this set up but I was surprised to see how the authors worked it out. They found an eventful, multi focused way of getting through this and I have to say it definitely upped my rating.
That being said, I was slightly dissapointed that the story kind of suddenly ended after that, I would have loved to have seen a bit more conversation or even interaction.
Thankfully the author already said that we will be getting more JT and West also in the next upcoming book (s).
I, for one, cannot wait to see which prince will get his story next. I am rooting for Travis and Caleb I cannot wait to read what happened there, and despite having a strong healtly dislike for East, I am seriously curious for the guy who gets him down to his knees 😉
