“How do you know if you’re a hostage?”
Bates
His boys ask the most interesting questions, but Bates wouldn’t have it any other way. They’re fabulously curious and wonderfully unique, and they’re quickly becoming the center of his world even though they haven’t technically known each other very long. But there are definitely more important things than time when it comes to falling in love.
Gareth
It isn’t his fault that life is weird and he has a growing list of questions, but thankfully, he has the best boyfriends he could’ve ever dreamed up because his list just keeps getting longer and longer. But Gareth knows questions are good and the answers are always fun, especially when some end with tails and playtime.
Cashel
How Gareth’s questions led to his own switchy crisis, Cashel still can’t quite figure out, but it just seems to be what happens when he’s surrounded by crazy on all sides. And the insanity is contagious because Jude’s acting even stranger and now Brady is asking his own growing list of the weirdest questions ever.
When a nosy neighbor falls for two curious cuties, it will take some kinky exploration and a bit of hostage negotiations to bring this family together forever.
Author’s Note: This is a continuation of the story for Gareth, Cashel, and Bates from Learning to Walk. This is not a standalone.

REVIEW:
This book is the continuation of Gareth, Cashel and Bate’s story. It sees the relationship developing between the three of them, with each of them learning and growing into their respective roles.
In this book we get to understand Gareth and Cash’s upbringing and their relationships with their parents. It makes so much more sense of how they are now with that explanation. In fact a lot of what I felt I was a little confused about in the prior story is explained in this book.
Gareth gets to let his inner wiggly pup out and get his spankings. Cash comes to terms with being a switch and his feelings of domination towards Gareth. – I love the way they call him a light switch just to annoy him. Bates gets to love on his two cute, crazy boys and be their Dom in all situations, including rescuing them from hostage situations and interested maternal figures.
We also see more of Brady (Gareth and Chases roommate who is a Little) and his Daddy Jude. We even get to see Jude smile and be relaxed in this book.
We finally get to meet Brady’s mum when Jude and Brady decide that the big guns are needed because they don’t understand Gareth, Cash & Bate’s relationship and are worried for Gareth & Cash. She behaves exactly how I imagined, and I have a wonderful mental picture of her. If only everybody was lucky enough to have a mum like her
My favourite scene in the whole book is where Little Brady & Pup Gareth are playing together and when they are both exhausted at the end they end being comforted by the other Doms. It felt like a true acceptance between them all. *sigh
Whilst life with Gareth, Cash, Jude and Brady is always going chaotic and crazy (and Bates wouldn’t have it any other way) this book moves them all on nicely in their individual relationships and leaves them all in a slightly calmer, more accepting place.
