Rowan:
Beautiful, flirtatious, fun.
That’s what people see when they look at me. But I’m desperate for more. I want to feel cherished and loved. I want to be someone’s rock…their everything.
That’s why I’m trying something new. My favorite dating app is hosting a blind auction and I’m putting myself up for bid.
This time I’m not swiping left or right, on the wrong guy. No, this time I’m hoping the perfect Daddy will find me, and I’m hopeful he’ll be the one to help me forget about my crush on my sister’s straight boyfriend.
Hudson:
Handsome, dependable, comfortable.
They might as well describe me as boring and vanilla.
I’m the best travel agent in the business. So I’m shocked when my boss wants me to participate in a blind auction hosted by our company and the hottest LGBTQ+ dating app. It’s not like my boss knows I’m exploring my sexuality.
I’m secretly excited to bid on the stunning man who’s exactly my type.
Only, there’s one huge problem: the man is my ex’s little brother.
My Sister’s Sweetheart is an opposites attract, sister’s-ex-boyfriend MM Romance. It is a part of the Sweetheart Escapes multi-author series. It can be read as a standalone, but why not grab them all?
REVIEW:
I love visiting Olivia Cove and all the couple’s we have met there!
Rowan is the cute, bubbly, flirty barista that we got to know at Cinny Latte and has become roommates with Jules. He may flirt with everybody but his big sister’s boyfriend was the one that he wanted and never got. The one that made him realize that he was gay as a young teenager. So color him shocked (which is hard to do when he is so colorful in his own right) when DaddyCurious turns out to be none other than his teenage crush/Sister’s now ex-boyfriend Hudson Clark. The same Hudson Clark that broke his 16 year old heart on his birthday. Hudson has been on and off, well more off than on, with his best friend Lily for years. But things never reached that true level that a relationship should have and even bringing in a third never really helped. So when Hudson’s boss requires him to sign up for the weekend get away at the company’s expense he winds up bidding on the one person that should definitely be off limits…Lily’s younger brother Rowan but he just can’t help it. That picture he posted on his profile should have been illegal it was so tempting but his voice message sealed the deal. But what will Rowan say when he discovers his sister’s boyfriend isn’t so straight after all and they aren’t a couple any more?
I just had to have Rowan’s HEA. We first met him in Display Me in the flirty barista at Cinny Latte, the coffee shop and then he became Jules’s roommate in Foxy and Flirt. Now he is roommates with both Jules and Alec, Jamie’s assistant/BFF. I know he came off as a major flirt but he was hiding his hurt from years past and how no one ever measured up to his older sister’s boyfriend that broken his young heart when they announced that they were a couple. I loved that Hudson had no idea how much of a crush younger Rowan had had on him. But he sure grew up to be just what Hudson desired and discovered he needed. And they really were perfect together! An added plus was watching Hudson take matters into his own hands with Rowan’s mom so Rowan could make his own decisions that worked for him.
I love how all of these books from Olivia Cove are intermixed with Multi-author series. It allows each couple their own unique spin on relationships and kink that can be changed up with the series theme. I can honestly say that the sister’s ex trope is not one I have read before and it was cleaver and engaging. I believe that Alec might get his own story later this fall and I can’t wait.
