So he decides to move both of his brothers and their households to his home in Montana, where they can make a stand. To make things even more complicated, Roman has to deal with a half dragon/ half gryphon that was stranded at his brother’s place in Colorado after the last attack.
Bastien was bespelled and abused by a mage for a long time, and he has terrible guilt about having to help attack Roman and his family. But Roman gives him home, and when they touch, the spark between them becomes a far bigger flame. But the bad guys moving against them won’t wait. Can Roman and Bastien defeat them and still form a mate bond?
REVIEW:
I just love when that word flashes in an Alpha or omega’s mind at first touch…Mate!
Roman is not only the oldest of the Gryphon Triplets but he is also the only brother note mated. When he helps defend and protect his brother Marc’s mate Traian, a unigriff, he is able to save the dracogryph, a dragon hybrid that was part dragon and part gryphon, that was bespelled by the evil mage that wanted the horn of Traian like he had killed Trajan’s parents for. But now Bastien was safe and, after their first touch, Roman realized that he has now found his mate too. But evil still lurks and there is still someone after Tarian’s horn. But is there enough time to convince Bastien that he is truly Roman’s mate before war erupts?
This was a really fast read and appears to be the conclusion to this series in the Dragon Veil Universe. I had always admired Roman. He was the oldest and a true leader and soldier. Finding Bastien was what he needed to make his life complete. I know that his brothers believed his mate would be found soon but to literally battle him because he was bespelled by magic and then, when those spells were broken, realize how important the sweet dragon was. Fated mates! I love when they find mates and both these lonely men needed and deserved a good one. I especially love that Bastien was as much a warrior and could defend along side or lead the battle with Roman. They were well matched.
A fun and fast read series.
