I am so over-the-top hooked on this new-to-me author and her rock family!!! I can’t wait for more!!! Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!!!!

Ollie’s day just keeps getting worse and worse when it had been all he had hoped and dreamed for. First he is so eager for his dream job interview at Identity that he could hardly sleep. Then he forgets his portfolio and all goes to hell in a hand basket. He stumbles in on his  live-in girlfriend getting nailed by his life-long best friend in his own bed. Then traffic is a mess because some inconsiderate a-hole blocks traffic with his car left willy-nilly in the street. And who could have known that the biggest Rockstar out there, Luca Weston of Caffeine Daydreams, had a mob chasing him into the building he was now late to enter. But having hot coffee knocked into his chest, a freaked out rockstar having a severe panic attack and an elevator shutting down mid flight weren’t on his radar either but that is his life today. What  happens in that time trapped with Luca is about to rock his world to the core but is he ready for all yet to come while chasing his dreams?

Who wouldn’t fall in love with sweet, buff, lovable Ollie once he lets his guard down and lets you in. I know trust is super hard for him for good reason. His dad abandoned them when he was young. His mom struggled with depression and anxiety until it became too much and she escaped this world at her own hands. His long term girlfriend cheated on him with his lifelong and only best friend the moment he left the house. Who would trust anyone after all that heartbreak. And poor Luca. Yes, he’s at the top of the world professionally but his love life is nonexistence. He can’t get anyone to look beyond the fame and glamour of his life to the real him except his bandmates. He can’t trust the motives of those who want him because it’s almost always self serving. But Ollie is different and he knows it immediately. Yes, he blew it big time when they were rescued. And yes, he used his fame and wealth to manipulate the situation to his advantage. But Ollie is the one for him and he just knew it even if Ollie hadn’t gotten to that point yet. I loved these two guys together and they just had to work things out because they were devastated without the other. But but had a super hard time with trust issues and that’s a huge roadblock in relationships.

I can’t wait for the other three bandmates stories. The whole Silas and Kai story line is slated next and it’s going to be a good one. Best friends-to-lovers is a favorite troupe of mine when one is oblivious to the other’s long time feelings. But add in that they are bandmates and rockstars and it’s golden. But the story I really want to the bottom of is their drummer Arlo and his ex-now-Luca’s bodyguard Jack. I just know that that slimy business manager Kevin had something to do with that story also. So YES I. CAN. NOT. WAIT!!! This is a fabulous start to a brand new series that just floats my boat.
