REVIEW:
A triad pet play with a bit of danger.
Cas is new to town and starting to make a name for himself and his art. The aquarium wall was a success and they want another one done. And the Turkey Emporium wants his colorful and whimsical art on their walls too. But what he really wants is to let his ferret pet side out to play. So with his costume he painstakingly created he bravely goes to the munch at Lover’s Cove, the local kink club for pet’s night. But as soon as he enters he wants to leave. He’s suddenly embarrassed about his costume that everyone seems to be staring at in disgust. Except for the sweet and bouncy kitty Mouse and his Daddy Garrett. When the three men hit it off the exchange phone numbers. Could Cas be the one that Daddy G and his Mousy been searching for?
I liked how well all three men complimented each other. Cas was the missing piece to Garrett and Noah’s life. And Cas and Noah’s artistic/creative sides was a perfect match. I loved how even though Cas was a pet he was protective of his Mouse too.
I found it particularly touching that Daddy Garrett finally leaned on Cas and Noah with all that was going on with the arsonist. And Cas, even though deeply distraught over what happened at his apartment, knew he needed to take care of his men too and stepped up when he was needed most.
This multi-author series has been intriguing and Painted Love was a definite winner to choose.
