I’ve always pretended to be vanilla, but when I find out that Cal, the confident daddy-dom who owns Dark Satin, has a crush on little ol me? I can’t help but flirt with the older man. So what if I happen to do it in fox ears? Or that I can finally explore some secret desires that have always made me curious? Seeing such a dominant man blush, makes me even more eager to explore.
Cal
I can’t believe I have a crush. Or that such a beautiful young man can get me so tongue-tied. Too bad he isn’t looking for a daddy. I just need to find a way to get over it. But when Jules shows up at my club trying to get me to participate in the town’s pride parade, I’m tempted to give him everything he wants. Especially if it’s me.
Foxy and Flirty is part of the Pride Pet Play 2023 multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but why not check them all out? If you like playful pets who are sometimes naughty, Pride parades, and Daddy’s who love their boys unconditionally you’ll fall in love with our pack!
REVIEW:
Well Kota Quinn managed to ensnare me with this sweet, sexy fox play tale!
Jules is having a rough time of it. His life-long best friend Noah has to suddenly move back home to San Francisco for a family emergency with no notice. So now Jules is in a literal financial pickle. He may be fabulous and totally organized when it comes to work but managing his life and personal finances is a disaster. So a chance offer to work for the Mayor of Olivia Cove helping with the organization of the second annual Pride celebration is right up his skill set and can help his rapidly dwindling bank account. Bonus points is a temporary Dark Satin membership to the kink club to help convince the co-owner to participate in this year’s event. Turns out they have a Pet Play Room that he can get into his Fox headspace and let go. Little does he realize that the older man he has crushed on forever is an owner of the club and a Daddy that prefers pets.
Jules is the sexy maître d’ at Silk and Cal is Kingston’s best friend that owns the kink club Kingston is a silent investor in that we originally met in Display Me. There was a tiny hint of their crushes and Jules backpack in Cal’s office the night he finally met up with Silent1/Jamie. I have been waiting every since for their story to come. And let me tell you…it did not disappoint! These men, when they finally got past the stammering and blushing, were perfect for each other. I loved that Cal is the ultimate daddy but wants a pet that can be independent when they are working or not in a scene. Jules needs someone to help keep him on track so he doesn’t forget to take care of himself when he’s busy or stressed out. They truly fit together as a couple and complemented each others strengths and weaknesses.
Leave it to Kota Quinn to make me a pet play fan! I haven’t been much for the kink in other series that have touched on it. But watching how much it relaxes and calms Jules was a treat. As was exploring the kink together in this book.
I loved that we got to know the flirty barista Rowan at Cinny Latte a little better. I have been wondering about his story and getting to see him and Jules room together and bond was fun. It was exciting to hear that his book is up next. If there is anyone who needs love, attention and his own HEA it’s Rowan! And I’m still waiting semi-patiently (foot tapping and leg jumping) for Seth’s (Jules boss and owner at Silk) story and the young man he rescued from Jamie’s abusive ex. We got a glimpse of them getting ready for Pride day and I bet Seth’s and Wylan’s story is going to be scorching hot! I love that Kota weaves all these stories together even though they are parts of other multi-author series. And I personally can’t wait for more to come! I have fallen for this well constructed Olivia Cover Universe and the men who chose to make it their home.
