“Excellent news, we’ve found your perfect match!”
.
Jori
I don’t want to be single forever—I just find it difficult to put myself out there. That’s why my meddling brother registered me with a matchmaking service. They did personality tests, took pheromone samples, and now they claim they’ve found the ideal alpha for me. So ideal, we’re supposed to be like fated mates from the legends, irresistible to each other. We need to be careful around each other, or my scent might set off his rut, which is a scary thing to happen with a complete stranger.
Except the Agency won’t tell me anything about him. I must pick up the courage and meet him to find out for myself.

Avery
I’ve always attracted the wrong men. After several abysmal breakups, I don’t dare to date, so it sounds like a great idea to let an agency choose a mate for me. Jori Mullins is a 26-year-old omega, a shy little accountant, and my perfect match in all aspects. He doesn’t have a manipulative bone in his body, and his honesty humbles me. Instead of tempting him, my wealth and status make him uncomfortable. He’s gentle, kind, and way smarter than he lets on. His scent alone has the power to wipe out my self-control.
I want him badly, but I need to keep my distance and gain his trust first. If we get too close to each other, our bodies might take over and make all decisions for us.

Perfect Match Agency is a multi-author gay romance series. The stories are non-shifter omegaverse, with high heat and low angst. Male pregnancy is possible in the world. Each book can be read as a standalone, features a new couple, and a satisfying happily ever after. Cautious Match is the first book in the series and features instant connection, rut and heat.
REVIEW:
A new-to-me author in a new multi-author series.
Jori and Avery are successful in their own careers. One is an extremely successful property development and construction engineer. The other is a forensic auditor/accountant for the FBI. Romance and relationships is a whole different matter though. They both seek out help from Perfect Match Agency to solve their problem. But can an agency really make the perfect match on paper, with the aid of a few scientific tests, and make a loving and lasting match?
I’m going to warn you, if you are not looking for a predominantly sex/erotica book this is not the book for you. Jori and Avery have only just met the day before and Jori’s pheromones set Avery’s rut off which triggers Jori’s heat. They get to know each other a bit at dinner the first night and are definitely checking each other out when the go trail running before heading back to Avery’s place the next evening. But that all goes up in a flash when Avery runs into the house to help Jori when a unfortunate fall occurs. All bets are off the moment that he helps him up and they get a strong whiff of each other. 28% into the book and the non-stop sex begins. Although both men appeared cautious/apprehensive at the beginning and did question the speed of their mating I don’t know if I would have called this a Cautious Match.
I liked both men and the premise of the dating service worked for me. We got snippets of who each man really was and what eventually lead them to Prefect Match Dating Service. My need though is that I needed a bit more “meat and potatoes” part of the connection. Yes, the sexual connection was off the charts as it should be due to the testing results. And we did see the two men question how fast everything was going but the actual relationship development, which is what I need to connect to for a couple to grab my heart, was a bit less developed than I would usually desire. I did want them to develop that strong personal relationship besides them being off-the-charts compatible in the bedroom…or any surface available.
If you are looking for a fun, very sexy read then this is the right book for you.
