But old embers can spark a flame and the couple pick up where they left off—but the war has only just begun, and everyone is fair game…and Lorenzo’s distraction gives Jonny the opportunity he needs to strike a deadly blow.
Torn between his burning need for vengeance and the scorching heat of love, which will Lorenzo sacrifice?

REVIEW:
Note: This is NOT a standalone. You need to have read the first two books in order to make sense of this one.
No plot synopsis here as this installment provides the final pieces of the puzzle to the reasons behind this turf war. Marco and Liam are still part of the plot but they are no longer front an center. Lorenzo, Marco’s uncle who we have been hearing about since the first book finally comes to Manchester and sets into motion the final confrontation that will determine who will run the city. Marco and Liam and Lorenzo’s other nephews have been making progress, but it’s up to Lorenzo to pull everything together and take Jonny Wellingham down forever.
This is the final book in the Two Tribes series which brings about the final battle between Lorenzo de Luca and Jonny Wellingham. The long awaited arrival of Lorenzo provides a shocking discovery as to WHY there is so much bad blood between these two. In addition, there is an unexpected connection to the past that has Lorenzo balancing his need for revenge on Jonny and making sure that his long lost love is able to leave the life as well. The same supporting cast of characters are here, including Claire, Lorenzo’s other nephews, the constantly annoying Dean who always seems to turn up like a bad penny, and of course Jonny and his foul-mouthed daughter. I will admit that there are some things that I saw coming, but quite a few that I did not as the final pieces of the puzzle are put into place. While there is a happy ending, there is a lot of violence to get there. Overall I really liked how the final battle played out and the epilogue that came later. If you’re up for a gay mafia series with some twists and turns, I think you’ll like this. There is suspense and surprises galore! Recommended.
