Meeting my fated mate in the middle of a top-secret assignment hadn’t been ideal. Nine years ago, he’d disappeared without a trace, and everyone assumed he was dead. Except me. I foolishly believed we would see each other again. I just didn’t expect him to turn up with a trail of dead bodies in his wake, or a child who could be my double. Despite the years that separated us, the anger, and the deceit, one thing remained – my love for him.
Sebastian Hollingsworth
My entire relationship with my fated mate was built on secrets. Nine years ago, I’d needed to disappear for my own safety. When my life was once again threatened, I’d run to the one man I knew would protect my son with his life. What I hadn’t expected was the burning anger I saw in his eyes when he looked at me. Or to realize that despite the secrets and our short time together, I had somehow fallen in love with him and had never stopped.
Was there a chance for us to build something real when everything between us had been lies?

If any of this content may be triggering to you, please use your best judgment.
“His Dangerous Omega” is the fourth book in the Sweet Alps Mates series. While it is not necessary to have read the previous books, some readers find it more enjoyable since a few favorite characters make appearances. This book contains fated mates, shifters, heats, knotting, mpreg, a whole lot of secrets and lies, a snarky kid and an HEA. Please note that no king cobras were harmed in the making of this book, I promise.
REVIEW:
The fourth Quad and Jamie’s story is a doozy!
Jamie, the youngest and most secretive of the Sinclair quadruplets, has always been the one to take care of people, protect who he loved and fix what needs fixing. Even his club is a place where omegas can safely pursue their kinks. But no one really looked out for Jamie. And that’s the way he liked it and he made it that way. He has deeply buried secrets that he knows in his heart his family won’t be able to handle. And he’s not sorry for what he has done in the past. Bad people get what they deserve. So when a young pup barrels into their mom Mary’s house followed by a shifter he never thought he would ever see again things got ugly real fast. His family needs to be protected. But the next person/shifter that appears blew his mind! His Ethan is still alive after nine years. And he has a son with him that is an exact duplicate of Jamie when he was only 8! What the Hell!!!!
Jamie and Bash’s story is a hard one. They met under false conditions. They both thought the other was possibly a really bad guy due to their covers. But they realized immediately one important thing…they were fated mates and fell immediately for the other. When Jamie was told by Ochoa Sr. that he had Ethan “taken care of” Jamie (know as Jonathan) saw red. His mate of only one month was ripped from him. And he did what any true mate would have done when faced with that situation. But nine years separated and a pup on top of that is a hard thing to forgive. I did love that both Jamie and Bash eventually thought it through and realized how it would have felt being on the other side of that equation. And them together was perfect. The fact that neither strayed from the other for nine years cemented it for me. True mates mate for life and there is no other substitute once you experience that level.
Wade has always been one of my favorites in this series. He looks after those that are his. He and Jamie had been close way before Finn and him finally accepted that they were real. And I know Wade felt his babies and his family was threatened when Ochia Jr. appeared at Mary’s. However, I really didn’t like how out of control and hostile he continued to be at Sebastian. It almost felt a bit too personal. He had always been Jamie’s favorite and knew that Jamie looked after him. But he almost came across as jealous of their relationship and couldn’t forgive Sebastian. I was thankful that that reversed a bit but I totally understood Sebastian’s reluctance to trust Wade after his viciousness. I did love that Jamie was Sebastian’s warrior against Wade’s attacks. And I loved that Quinn, who is practically a brother to Wade, also called him out on his behavior. But he still came down a notch or two in this book.
I will say that the most shocking thing in this whole book was Mary! I never in a million years saw THAT coming. Just Wow!! And learning more about the quad’s dad made more things click together for me in past books.
One of the things I found to be a bit humorous is that Finn is a highly respected OB/GYN specializing in omega care. However he doesn’t seem to be aware what causes babies because Wade seems perpetually knocked up. And he also doesn’t seem to have any kind of control over his extremely bratty and at times completely out of control mate/omega. However I don’t think there is anyone who can truly harness that brat! Wade is Wade and no one can change that.
I’m going to state that you really do need to read this entire series. This family and those they have come to love have just done it for me. I want to go the Quinn’s shop and sample his scrumptious treats. I want to included in the musketeers when they go on spa days Wade organizes. I want to spend time with all the quads and hang out at the baby showers and family meals. I want to be a part of Sweet Alps and the Sinclair family. That’s how deeply this author and her created universe has touched me. And I don’t want to leave.
