Impatient. Impulsive. Rebellious.
Zayne Copeland’s been getting in trouble for as long as he can remember.
But if trouble goes by the name Ethan Holt, he’s quite okay with that.
Why wouldn’t he be, when Ethan has been the one to show him what love is?
From boys to men. From school to The Office.
He and Ethan have always been inseparable.
They’re possessive of one another, protective to a fault.
They had to be to survive.
But as they fall deeper for Chloé, the woman they’ve claimed as their own,
they realize they have to open up their lives in order to hang on to her.
Three fathers. An overprotective brother. Their relationship becoming public. It would be enough to send two weaker men running.
Lucky for Chloé, Ethan and Zayne have never been the type to back down from a challenge.
Confessions: Zayne is the continuation of Chloé, Ethan & Zayne’s story and should only be read after Confessions: Ethan.
REVIEW:
Note: This is the eighth book in this series and is a spin-off from previous series. It contains major spoilers for previous books in the Chicagoverse and can’t be read a a standalone since it literally picks up where Ethan ends. I would recommend reading the previous 4 Confessions books if you haven’t though to find out how Chloe’s dads came to be.
Well the cat’s out of the bag. Chloe’s fathers discover that she is dating not one, but two older men. And she’s lied to them about where she’s been going the last month. Needless to say, they are not pleased. What’s worse than one protective father? How about three. Part of Chloe know she’s got it coming since she’s been lying. But she’s also not wrong in that it’s a bit hypocritical for a throuple to give her grief about that. Even Justin isn’t as dismayed by the two guys as the age gap and her not coming clean.
But there is trouble afoot from Zayne’s family connections. And of course the dads are not thrilled about that either. These three definitely have a very strong connection though and despite some misgivings, it appears that they have what it takes to weather the storm. Oh, and the steamy scenes are extremely hot!
This is another very steamy and emotional book in this series. Chloe is in a bit over her head when her dads find out about Ethan and Zayne. Needless to say, they are protective of their young daughter. Joel, Jules, Robbie and Justin are all bound and determined to protect Chloe, but she has her own ideas and she will decide what she wants. But this is Zayne’s story and it’s a rough one. Ethan and Zayne each have their own demons. Ms. Frank fills in more of their backstory and how they developed such a strong bond and why they are each other’s safe place. The face that Chloe fits with both of them is a bit of a miracle to them. Sort of like Robbie was 😉 This series continues to provide heat and heart and I’m anxious to get Chloe’s book. Also no cliffhanger ending with this one, so there’s that 😀 Definitely recommended – espescially for fans of this series, Chicagoverse and Ella Frank.
