Sal Henrik
Coming home from a world tour early to find out my roommate sublet my room sucks. But being forced to share my room with the most annoying attorney on the planet? I’d rather launch myself into the sun, thanks.
Since that’s not an option, and I refuse to be chased out of my own room, I have to suck it up and share a bed with my enemy. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I discover Haverford is a secret cuddlebug—and worst of all, I don’t hate it.
If he insists on staying in my space and making me delicious dinners, he has no one to blame but himself for making me fall in love with him, right?
Haverford Delaroche
My peaceful subletting situation is thrown into total chaos when Sal comes home early. We start as enemies, but I begrudgingly develop a fondness for his fiery tenacity. That doesn’t excuse me waking up every morning to discover I’m cuddling him like my favorite teddy bear, though.
But when it feels like he was made for me to hold, how can I resist falling for Sal when he’s everything I didn’t know I needed?

REVIEW:
I’m so thankful I had the actual time to savor this book. I have so enjoyed getting to know all the talented musicians that make Iason’s career flourish. Sal was the one I was curious about with all the ribbing he gets from Tiago. And his story definitely didn’t disappoint.
Salazar “Sal” Henrik is truly living his dream in spite of his parents. He is the keyboardist and back up singer for the wildly successful Iason Leyland! When Iason is suddenly put on vocal rest and the world tour is postponed, Sal can’t wait to get back home to his apartment he roommates with Calixto in. Much to his surprise, when he slides into his bed naked in the wee hours of the morning, is to find an equally naked older man in his bed. When he discovers that Calixto had sublet his sublet room to the gorgeous but infuriating man that is all paid up and is making no plans to vacate his bed! And to make matters worse, the arrogant jerk is a lawyer who wrote up an iron clad agreement no less! Grrrr! And to top it all off, he’s an amazing cook and nice guy. So now they are stuck in the same bed and trying to stay mad while super attracted to each other!
There is so much to love about this book but Haverford did it for me. He really is a nice guy and how he wound up in divorce law just blew me away. He is a kind, compassionate, caring and nurturing man that anyone, even without his wealth, would be lucky to be with. And the literal icing on the cake…the man is a gourmet cook! He just makes me swoon! But it was his backstory of how he came to be rooming with Calixto that finally sealed the deal that he really is a truly great guy with a heart of gold and the patience of a saint.
I think one of the best parts was to watch and see how much Sal was loved by all those that surround him but was clueless to. The biggest warm and fuzzies was the “big brother/little brother” relationship that Tiago and Sal had being explained. And also how much respect and love Iason has for him. It was exciting to see all that love come forward and surround him.
It was great that we got some really cool moments too of the band just hanging out and talking. Now that they all have their men it makes it even more sweet.
I am truly looking forward to Calixto and Sir Prince’s story. I can honestly say I have never read an age gap, rock star idol that a cover band artist, who looks like a younger version of the rock star, meet up and fall in love book. I just can’t wait. Now I just need more time to get to the earlier series in this amazing universe.
