LENGTH: 455 Pages

BLURB:
Two dragon clans. One teacher. One student. Fated mates.
Morgan doesn’t expect to receive any kindness from the warrior clan. When he is sent by his father to train at the Hoskins castle, Morgan knows he can’t talk his way out of it. He’s alone. He’s vulnerable. He just doesn’t expect to find an alarmingly attractive trainer. He can hardly look away. It’s going to be a problem. Especially if his father finds out that he’s been looking at a Hoskins…
Lew is meant to train the noble dragon, not fall in love with him. He never expected to like the stuck-up Morgan. If only the little dragon wasn’t so pretty and delicate, if only he wasn’t surprisingly sweet and timid, if only he didn’t make all Lew’s protective instincts go haywire… There’s more to Morgan than meets the eye and Lew is determined to learn everything.
As the two men begin to bond, they find that not everything they’ve been taught is true. The noble uasal can be fated to mate a common curaidh. But not everyone agrees. If Lew and Morgan want to be together, they’re going to have to fight for their love and claim one another before it’s too late.
A forbidden love romance between a naïve noble dragon and the older warrior dragon who’s been hired to train him.
REVIEW:
Morgan hides his fear behind an indifferent mask. Nothing has been what he was expecting when he was sent to train with Lew Hoskin. And maybe that’s a good thing.
Lew was sure he wasn’t going to like the young noble dragon that he was ordered to train, but the beautiful young man who walked into his house sent him for a loop.
This is the first book in this series and from what I can see, there is a lot of them and I will probably ready them all. I will admit I had some preconcieved notions about this series going in, but I was more than pleasantly surprised by this story.
Morgan is sweet and suspicious. But he’s starting to see that the world isn’t exactly like what his father had told him. He finds himself fascinated by the warrior dragon and his family. He’s finding friends in this unexpected place and it’s making it hard to keep his defenses up.
Lew had an idea in his head that Morgan would just be another spoiled noble and was prepared to do his duty but nothing more. He hadn’t counted on Morgan being his fated mate.
These two characters are sweet and funny and absolutely adorable. They stumble around each other, getting closer every day. The whole Hoskins family is interesting and there were a few twists there I wasn’t expecting. I’m looking forward to meeting more of them.
This story has a good sense of humor and while it definitely fits into the “romance” category, that’s okay. Nadia is lots of fun and Nana and her husband made me giggle a lot.
Watch Morgan come out of his shell and see that there is more that life has to offer than the dreary life he’s been promised made me a little teary at times.
This story is well written and well edited. The world building is first rate as well. If you love dragons like I do, I think this will become a favorite. Now I’m off to read book three…I can tell this is going to be an addiction series for me.
