Book Description
Can the twink accept the billionaire’s terms and risk his heart?
Demetrius Ford believes he’s not meant to be loved. His wealth tends to bring out the worst in people, so he doesn’t have high hopes when he visits Boys Club. Then he meets Todd and everything changes.
Todd Giddings came to Boys Club to escape the street. He’s young, but he’s been through a lot. He’s world-weary and tired of playing the game at Boys Club. Why play with the crowd when you could have love instead? When he answers Demetrius’ ad, he’s convinced his life will change, but can he accept Demetrius’ terms and risk his heart?
The twink and the billionaire doesn’t seem like it should work, but it might be exactly what they both need…
Reader advisory: This book includes references to sex work, inadequate parenting, and attempted blackmail.
Todd couldn’t believe his luck. Demetrius—on the surface—was everything he wanted. He oozed sex appeal, wore that suit way too well and treated him with dignity. Plus, he’d caught on to Todd’s need for kink. Now if only he’d want him…wouldn’t that be perfect?
Todd led Demetrius to his room. He didn’t have much to kink out, but he’d find something if Demetrius wanted to play. “This is mine.” He opened the door. “Welcome.”
Demetrius entered the space first. “Interesting.”
“It’s not exciting, but it’s mine.” He patted the bed. “Join me?”
“I’d love to.” Demetrius sat beside him. “What brought you to Boys Club?”
“Are you serious?” he blurted. No one had ever asked him, save for the owners. They wanted a moment of gratification, not to get to know him.
“I’m quite serious,” Demetrius said. “I’ve never been here and you intrigue me. Don’t you wonder about me?”
“I do.” More than he probably should.
“You’re entitled to ask.”
Was this some kind of game? “Okay, then who are you and why are you here?” Blunt, but he hated to mince words.
“I came with a friend,” Demetrius said. “He told me I could find someone for a special purpose.”
Ah, that made sense. “What do you want me to be?”
“Honest.”
That shocked him. “Oh?”
“I don’t have time to mess around with lies and stories. Just tell me the truth.” Demetrius didn’t blink, but he didn’t look accusatory either.
“I came to Boys Club because I needed a place to belong. My family hated my being gay and kicked me out. I came here, finished school and got my head on straight.” Considering the way his father had treated him, it was a miracle he’d come out on the other side in one piece. “A man visited often and because of him, I learned I have certain desires. Most guys are into BDSM and want to spank me because I’m cute. It’s a good thing that I don’t mind being spanked.”
“And what is your kink? Spanking?”
“I love the protection of being bound. I like being tied up and spanked, but mostly I need someone who will dominate me. I love to serve.”
Demetrius nodded once and touched Todd’s thigh. “I can’t exactly tie you down here, but we should see how compatible we can be.”
“We should.” Sparks shot from his hand to his heart. Heat engulfed him. He sucked in a ragged breath and met Demetrius’ gaze. This man wanted to give him a test drive? Wanted to give them time to make this work—if it could? No way. He kept surprising Todd.
“May I kiss you?” Demetrius asked.
“Yes.” He leaned into Demetrius and met him for the kiss. His lips sizzled. He whimpered and inched over to Demetrius, bridging the gap between them. When Demetrius massaged his thigh, Todd groaned. He longed to crawl onto Demetrius’ lap and submit.
Demetrius broke the kiss, but stayed close. “Whoa.”
“Yeah.” It was more than whoa for him. He swore every cell in his body came to life.
“Do you want to stay here? At Boys Club?”
“No.” He’d love to leave. He needed to be loved and appreciated. “Why? Are you interested in taking me away from here?”
“I could be.” Demetrius laced his fingers with Todd’s and tugged him closer. “Do you want to be owned?”
“What?” This was exactly what he wanted, but it seemed impossible.
“What do you ultimately want from me? From any man who might take you from here,” Demetrius asked. “Tell me.”
“May I be honest?”
“I expect it.”
He measured his breaths. He’d heard of other men being chosen and moving onto better situations—not that Boys Club was bad. He had a roof over his head, food and clothing, but he was expected to perform. To do whatever he was asked to do with whomever asked.
“Well?” Demetrius tipped his head.
“I want a man who will give me room to breathe, but will expect things from me. Who can tie me up when we fuck, but won’t treat me like shit. I want to be loved and respected for my differences. I like being controlled, though.” He stared at Demetrius. He’d been honest. Now what would Demetrius do with it?
“I see.”
He saw? Fuck. “Okay.” Maybe he shouldn’t have brought him to his room. The sparks felt real, but he’d been wrong before.
“May I visit you again?” Demetrius asked. “I want some more time with you.”
“You do?” He hadn’t expected Demetrius to say that.
“I do. You intrigue me and I want to scene with you, but before we do, we need to discuss what you want from the scene and your safe word. I might be a heartless bastard in business, but not with a sub.”
He liked hearing that. “I’d love to.”
“Good. Will you be available tomorrow?”
“Yes.” He’d stay out of sight just to ensure he could only be with Demetrius.
“Good. I’ll be back tomorrow night. We’ll discuss your terms, your safe word and plan out the scene. I want it to be enjoyable and safe.”
“Yes, sir.” Knowing Demetrius respected him enough to ask those questions and put in the precautions turned him on. It also made him happy. He couldn’t wait for Demetrius to come back.
