REVIEW:
I’m so excited! I love BA’s Cozy Cowboys!!!
David Garcia was living the life he had always wanted. Master’s degree in early child education and working with young children with autism. Living in Austin out and proud after a rough time in high school being who he was in the small New Mexico town. His brother set to run the family ranch after serving. That all disappearing in an instant when his brother with killed in the line of duty and his dad suffered a heart attack at the news. So here he is, finding himself back in Arroyo Verde, New Mexico, not knowing what to do next. His sister-in-law needs help with his niece and nephew while she goes back to work as a nurse and it turns out a lot of people need someone to watch their kids now and then. So when his best friend Nicole suggests he open a day care out at the ranch he decides to do it. Wiley Marquart isn’t living life as he had assumed he would. He gave up the rodeo so he could move up to New Mexico to help co-parent his 3 year-old twin girls with his ex. They never thought that being beards for each other would leave him as an at-home daddy with his sweet girls while his ex-wife heads back to the rodeo circuit with her new 21 year-old country singer girlfriend. When help come in the way of the handsome neighbor who just opened a day care next door. Helping each other becomes the norm and David and Wiley gravitate towards each other more and more. But can a retired rodeo Cowboy with two small twin girls offer anything to and out and proud teacher helping his family the best he can?
These two men not only needed each other but were made to be together. They just rose and shined in each other’s presence. I did love that they took their time getting to know each other and not just jump each other’s bones. They both had a lot happen in their lives in a super short amount of time. They just needed to get to know each other. They learned to lean and trust the other. And it wasn’t just all about them. There were children to love that depended on them to protect them and keep the safe and loved.
I do love this series. I love cowboys falling in love, taking care of each other when some one gets hurt or needs help. This series brightens my life and gives hope.
