Everything is about to change.
Blurb
Taken from his vampires, Matthew now has a whole new set of fangs to worry about.
He was back to square one—vampire dinner.
But Tobia and Gwin aren’t giving him up. When Tobia’s maker shows up on the scene, they use him to get to New York quickly in order to save their muse.
He could not stand to lose her, and his heart ached for Matthew. They weren’t complete without him.
Kato, John & Wayne are trying to cope without their singer, but it doesn’t feel right.
“Carolina Sky and Matthew are about something more than being a kick ass band. I just don’t know exactly what that is.”
…And nothing comes out how they planned.
A serialized paranormal Rockstar romance with mythical beings and multiple pairings.

He sat upright in bed, throwing off the covers and wiping the sweat on his forehead.
How do I get Kato to believe me?
That wasn’t the most important thing about the dream. But it was the first thing he latched onto, and perhaps his closest challenge. If he had Kato on board, maybe his friends could help him with the rest of it.
Wayne was going to have to come clean about all of it, anyway. He needed Kato and John to understand. He wished he understood more about this particular dream, though. He got some of it, but the eyes were throwing him off. Usually, eyes meant something about one’s own soul, but that didn’t feel right in this case. Eyes could also represent love and light. Grace and truth. That was there, but it was behind a cloud. Behind something more ominous. As if…
Wayne breathed deeply, trying to remember the dream and connect the pieces before he forgot any of it.
Things could go two ways. To a place of harmony or a place of death. The field of blood came to mind, and Wayne was certain he had it. It hinged on decisions that hadn’t been made yet.
He rushed out into the hall and pounded on Kato’s door. “Kato. Man, wake up. I need to talk to you.” Wayne could feel the sun peeking into the living room and lighting the house, but it was still early. He had no clue when Kato had come home from his gig. If he came home. He banged on the door again. “Are you in there? Kato?”
The door opened and a sleepy Kato leaned against the jamb. His hair was sticking up everywhere like someone in an 80s hair band, and makeup was smeared over his face adding to that vibe. “What the fuck, dude?”
“I have to talk to you.” He grabbed both of Kato’s hands and pulled him to the living room.
Kato pulled one free from him and rubbed at his eyes with it. “What?” He eased down into the comfy second-hand couch.
Wayne cleared his throat. “This is what I know. Matthew is coming home. Soon.”
“You’ve been saying that.”
“I know, but now I have a better idea of when.” He realized from the dream that the kangaroos were time. There were many ahead of them but only one with him. “Tomorrow or the next day at the latest.”
“How the fuck do you know?” Kato scowled at him.
“I dreamed it. Okay?” Wayne sat down on the floor beside him and leaned back against the sofa. “I have true dreams. The one I just had said that he’ll be back with us in a day, but I don’t know if that means today or tomorrow, but no later. Then—”
The silence fell around them. Wayne didn’t want to tell more than he had to, but Kato was skeptical. He bumped his knee into Wayne’s shoulder. “Then what?”
“No. Nothing. Within a day. So don’t fuck up and get with someone else at a gig or something, if you even have one tonight. ‘Cause I know how you are, and I’ve dreamed that as a possibility. Don’t. And stop fighting with John. Okay?”
“Gotcha. So? What’s after Matthew coming home? I can tell you had more to say. If you want me to believe any of this, you better spill it.”
“Did you have sex with some guy last night?” Wayne leaned forward and sniffed at Kato’s leg. He wanted to change the subject from his dream, but he also suspected the worst from Kato.
“No. Almost. He wasn’t Matthew. Know what I mean?” Sadness and longing played behind Kato’s eyes.
Wayne took a very deep breath, contemplating what to say. “I don’t want to tell you because it’s a nexus. Things could go either this way or that. Too early to tell.”
“Tell me anyway.”
“It might influence things.”
“Yeah, for the better, maybe? Tell me.”
“Do you believe me then?”
“I don’t believe anything before coffee.” Kato grinned like the smartass he normally was, then got up and went to the kitchen. Wayne checked out his ass in his sweat-shorts and the way they clung as he walked away. Maybe he was a little less than straight after all. He shook his head and got up to follow Kato into the kitchen.
