Heart Unbroken by Casey Cox
ROVE
Five years ago, we had a fleeting connection. Instant attraction, sizzling chemistry, and scorching-hot sex.
It was only brief, but it was…everything.
Then my career takes off. I become one of the biggest openly out Hollywood A-listers. I’m on top of the world—rich, famous, and successful.
Until a cruel red carpet gotcha stunt blows my life apart. In the blink of an eye, I lose everything I’ve spent two decades working and sacrificing for.
I’ve got no one to turn to and nowhere to go… Except back to the man I met five years ago.
LEO
Five years ago, I met someone unforgettable.
He made me feel something I thought I’d lost forever. Something that died with my beloved Dante a decade earlier.
I never expected to see Rove again. When he returns, the spark, the chemistry, the connection, is right where we left it five years ago. Actually, it’s only intensified.
The more time we spend together, the clearer it becomes—there’s no way I can let him go again. Can we find a way to make it this time?
HEART UNBROKEN is a second chance at love MM romance with two men in their 40s, a naked meet-cute, an only-one-bed situation, found family, 90s pop culture references, and a ‘sail into the sunset’ happily ever after (literally).

I always knew this would be a lightning-fast visit, but I can still literally taste him on my lips, and I’m already leaving. It’s…crazy.
Since the only clothes I brought with me were what I wore, and since those clothes are still wet and smelling seaweedy after our unplanned dip in the ocean, Rove loans me an outfit of jeans, a gray shirt, and a pair of black sneakers. It’s only a little snug on me, and I’m happily surprised we’re the same shoe size. At least I get to take a bit of Rove back to Florida with me.
“Can I be upfront with you?” I say a few minutes into the car trip, because yes, Rove insisted he come with me to the airport, mumbling something about it being his turn, or something.
He turns to face me and smiles. “Sure.”
I glance at the driver in the front seat and lower my voice slightly. “We’re both old enough to not play games and waste time with bullshit, right?”‘
Rove chuckles. “Right.”
Nerves jangle in my chest, but I know this is the right thing to say, and I know I’ll be severely pissed with myself if I leave without doing just that. I reach my hand out into the empty seat between us. He does the same, gently grazing his hand over my knuckles. “I like you… A lot,” I say.
His eyes flash to mine. “I like you a lot, too.”
“And even though this is all happening so fast and it’s soon, probably too soon to be saying this, but you and I don’t have the luxury of time, so I’m just going to come right out and say it.”
His head bobs, and he swallows expectantly. “Okay.”
I wet my lips, and damn, I can still taste him there. My breath catches in my chest as I say, “You’re special and incredible and you make me feel things I didn’t think I’d ever feel again. You’re not someone I can say goodbye to… So I guess what I’m letting you know is…I want to be with you.”
His brown eyes light up. “I want to be with you as well.”
