After two thousand years of providing peace for his people, Notalus was ready to pass on his kingdom to his heir and live out the rest of his days gardening in his fields in the land of Autumn… alone.
But the Gods had other plans for him.
Notalus knew he should’ve stayed away from the Earth realm after Dustin Constus Hill—the handsome wolf and harvester for the Volkov pack-lands—had imprinted on his soul. Falling for such a divine mortal could not have come at a worse time.
“Love comes fast for titans when their souls are touched.”
REVIEW:
Notalus Cavalerie, Lord of the South Wind and the Titan of Tir an Fhomhair! He is also one of the brothers of Adres Cavalerie who has found his mate in Macauley Volkov, one the Volkov Alphas.
During the time their brother needed them, Notalus, together with his two brothers Boraleashe and Zepharali, rush to help their brother and the Volkov Clan. Also at that time Notalus, as the Overseer of the Harvest, couldn’t help but came to the aid of Dustin Constus Hill, the Alpha wolf and harvester for the Volkov pack lands. He has been constantly thinking of that particular man several months after. Dustin has left a very unforgettable impression on him. And he couldn’t help thinking that his handsome wolf was more than just the harvester of the clan.
After the last disaster that befell their clan, Dustin has become more vigilant of the land he cares for. When an unexpected storm turn their way and he is left injured and couldn’t protect his crops, he called out the one name that he couldn’t forget, even after months of not seeing him, Notalus. Notalus, once again, came to his aid and restored what was damaged in the storm. But unlike last time, this time Dustin asked Notalus not to leave. Notalus has no intention of ever leaving Dustin again, ever.
So when Notalus invited Dustin to see where he lives, after telling him that he is more than just the harvester in the Volkov Clan and that he is a direct descendant of a God, Dustin agreed to go with him. Dustin never expected the warmth he received when they reached Tir an Fhomhair. When he was with the Volkov Clan, he has decided to stay alone (because of a certain reason) and far away from the other folks in the clan. He is content to stay in his own house overlooking the planting and the harvest of the pack lands. But just like you and me, he also longs for someone to be there waiting for him when he comes home. He longs for someone to love!
Dustin is an Alpha and a part God himself, he just didn’t understand totally until Notalus told him about his ancestors and what he can actually do and achieve using his full potential/powers.
I love how sweet this story is, a far cry from what we have experienced while reading The Prophecy series (The King and Alpha Series) where this spinoff originated from. I love how these two lovelies stayed apart for a short while but still thought of each other constantly until circumstances brought them together again, and this time for good. I didn’t like how Dustin felt, being alone and staying away from the other clan members. I felt his loneliness and his longing for someone to love him for who he really is.
Thank you Ms. A.E. Via for always bringing a one-of-a-kind story every time. I cannot wait for Boraleashe and Zepharali’s stories. I can already sparks flying between Boraleashe and Theodor, the Prince and Heir of the King pf Tir an Fhomhair.
