His eliXXir by L. J. Harris
Men of New York, Book 2
Trey Winters had always been a user. So arrogant and self-centered. Being co-owner of eliXXir, one of the highest profile clubs in Hell’s Kitchen meant he never failed to attract the hottest men around and toss them aside after one encounter. Trey had a life most would envy. One he reveled in, until a mystery man crossed his path one Valentine’s Day, complicating matters both in and outside the bedroom.
He didn’t want to want him.
Didn’t want to need him.
But fate, it would seem, had other ideas.
Noah Middleton craved to express himself the only way he knew how. Reach his full potential, chronic illness be damned. Accepting a place at a prestigious New York dance academy might have made his goal so close he could taste it, but after admitting to his best friend he’d been unable to stop thinking about the beautiful stranger he’d met on his last visit, said friend took it upon himself to play Cupid.
The man was irresistible.
A temptation like no other.
And for Noah, that was the scariest part of all.

Trey – Chapter 15:
Shooting me a syrupy-sweet smile, Liam dragged the object of my lust toward the dance floor. Wes gave me a look of disappointment, as did Justin. Me? Well, I was grateful that the music drowned out the whiny noises I was making when they merged with the crowd.
Several approaching customers meant that I couldn’t leap over the bar and drag my prize away by the ponytail. As a consequence, my imagination began to run wild at the thought of Liam making a move on Noah.
“I’ll take a shot of your best vodka, my good man.”
Giving a nod to the leather-clad bear, I poured his drink while craning my neck in a vain attempt to catch a glimpse of the two men. For several of the longest moments, which seemed to stretch into hours, Wes and I busied ourselves serving drinks and talking it up. Doing everything we could for our customers as per usual.
At least somebody around here was getting what they wanted.
How nice for them.
My gaze once again began picking through the crowd, but Noah was nowhere in sight. I was so caught up in my quest I hadn’t noticed my ogling was attracting the attention of more than a couple of guys until it was too late, one of them squeezing past several people until he was standing before me.
“Well, hello there, handsome.” His smile was confident. “Think you’ll have time for a little play later?”
My junk shriveled in response.
Uh, cock? Buddy? You awake down there?
Tall and tanned, the guy was good looking. Come to think of it, he was downright hot with his defined, muscular build, the sleeves of his tight red shirt cutting into bulging biceps.
“No.” Distracted, I stared over the man’s shoulder.
“I know a come-hither look when I see one.” He winked.
“Sorry, but I’m not interested, so unless you want a drink, fuck off. I’m busy.”
Wes’s thick, bushy brows on the rise, he looked at me in that special “What the hell?” kind of way. The scowl I directed back at him, and at a shocked Justin, was a warning to them both that I was not about to explain my behavior.
Now, I’d always known I was an asshole, and didn’t possess the best people skills in the world, but this time even I was surprised by my blatant display of dickheadedness. As much as that were true, I wasn’t about to admit it out loud and apologize, now, was I?
Smile disappearing, the man seemed genuinely hurt, but he’d get over it the next time someone glanced his way. I had more pressing things to worry about than some guy boo-hooing because I’d turned him down.
Like, why I was turning him down in the first place.
Before meeting Noah, I’d never done that, unless of course a better offer came along. Even then, I’d find a way to turn the situation to my advantage, maybe have them take turns blowing me.
“How about a drink on the house? What’ll you have?” Wes offered, giving our patron an encouraging smile.
“Jack and Coke, no ice,” he answered, responding grin emerging.
While Wes began making Jack-and-Coke guy’s drink, bantering with him to help smooth things over, I decided to test a little theory that had just popped into my head.
I checked out the talent within my range of vision. Tall, short, fat, thin, muscular, hot, hairy, young, and old, I had a veritable buffet of man-meat to choose from, any one of them at my disposal if I wanted. And yet, my cock refused to give me any sign it was alive.
Admittedly, in times more recent I’d been avoiding the once routine encounters, but when it came to thoughts of hooking up with anyone but Noah, it seemed that the switch to my libido had been flipped.
“The fuck?” I breathed a gasp of horror at the same time my epiphany hit.
Holy shit. Noah Middleton’s stolen my mojo!
