Some hurts change the course of your life forever, but with the devoted attention of an older Daddy, can a boy become comfortable enough in his own skin to hold on tight to the life he deserves?
As the last boy left from the original crew of waiters at The Tap Tavern searching for his Daddy, Archie’s filled with nervous excitement. And a little dread. Okay, he’s scared to death. He’s never been able to get past the kissing portion of a date before he tenses up and ruins everything. What man is going to want to deal with that? Maybe it’s time to admit that what happened to him as a pre-teen has broken him forever.
Detective Hutchinson, Hutch to his friends, has decided that he might as well just live for work. After years of searching for the perfect sub, his tastes have changed, leaving him clueless to what he wants or whom he’s searching for.
When their paths collide, Hutch is intrigued by the brave young man who doesn’t realize how strong he is. Archie is infatuated with the older man, but knows he can’t possibly hold the attention of someone so capable and put together. Honestly, he wouldn’t even know where to begin.
Can Hutch convince Archie that his innocence isn’t the deterrent he thinks it is, and that he would be honored to give him the tender loving care that he needs?
Welcome to another heartwarming story from The Tap Tavern, where this new Daddy is willing to roll up his sleeves and put in the work to prove to his boy how very special he is.

REVIEW:
I have been very eager for the youngest member of the The Tap Room boys to get a Daddy that was perfect for him.
This was a sweet, tender story for Archie and Hutch. Archie has lived through the most horrific events a young boy can be put through and at the hands of the woman entrusted to take care of him and his little brother when their parents died. And then he had to run away from their only home when his vile Aunt set her eyes next on his little brother PJ. Living on the streets has forced him to become strong but his adoptive Dad’s and his friends at The Tap Room tend to protect and guard the young man that lived through such horrible child sex abuse that has left him so mentally scarred that even attempting kissing has set off severe panic attacks. But Archie longs for a tender Daddy of his own like all his friends have found. But who’s going to ever want a boy as damaged as him? When attempting to help out a dear older lady friend from the Outreach Center lands Archie in the middle of a gang shoot out and he would never expects to meet his dream Daddy but fate had a way of bringing him the most tender man he could possibly meet in the gruff but devastatingly handsome older detective.
I loved how Hutch and Archie were absolutely perfect for each other. No one could ever be as patient and protective of his Angel as Hutch was for Archie. And he really was so patient and understanding. I really loved that his former Dom self gave him the tools to have Archie be able to communicate his needs through the simple traffic light system. It was the perfect solution so trust could form. And him being older gave him a level of patience that a younger man would never have achieved. Hutch really didn’t need to push because he understood and was fine with what ever Archie was able of giving. That was paramount to their tender relationship forming and being able to bloom and grow. And through that patient and tender understanding a love formed that would allow Archie to trust for the first time in his adult life. You absolutely couldn’t help but want them to work and last forever.
I love that all the boys of the Tap Room love, support and protect each other. They have become a found family with Cameron, whom I suspect really is a Daddy but not sure what kind, keeping watch on his friends and Christian overseeing all his Tap Room boys. Speaking of Christian, I hear that his and Levi’s story is up next and I seriously can’t wait. I have loved each of the boy’s journey’s to find their perfect Wanted Daddy and Archie’s was a particularly hard one to fill but Hutch made it work. But I suspect that Levi’s story may be the hardest of all and that’s saying a lot with each of these boy’s heart wrenching stories for looking for love and acceptance. They have overcome all the challenges in their lives and rose above with the help of their wanted Daddies.
