Jermon thought he’d finally found his mates. Will fate now take them away?
Just when alpha dragon Jermon thought he’d found the two men he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, everything came crashing down. Literally.
The guilt about bringing trouble to the Hightower pack is real, but Jermon has bigger problems. Wilmer has no recollection of Jermon and Riordan, and his recovery is slow. Meanwhile, Riordan is acting weird. Is it the stress that’s getting to him? Or is something else going on?
When the Murphys aren’t the saviors they appeared to be and Jermon learns more about his magic, he knows what to do.
He needs to fight for his men and for his pack.
Dragon’s Fight is the third book in the Irresistible Dragons series, which needs to be read in order. It continues the love story between Wilmer, Jermon, and Riordan and ends with a happily ever after for these three. The bigger plot will continue in the next book.
REVIEW:
Oh my goodness gracious are you in for a wild ride with this book! Phew!!! It sure got hot in here!
We pick right up where Dragon’s Honor left off. Poor Wilmer (an Alpha wolf shifter) was seriously injured in the fire when they were attacked by the dragon slayers. He has considerable burns on his body but that’s not the worse part. The brain injury he incurred when the burning beam fell on him has left him with no memory of the past two years which includes absolutely no memory of meeting his two mates Jermon (a dragon Alpha Prince) and their omega wolf Riordan. Riordan is beside himself with worry for his mate and is also having strange things happening to his body that makes everything worse. Jermon is just trying to hold everything together with what has happened and now interacting with the Murphy Clan that came to their rescue when the dragon hunters attacked. But something isn’t quite right with that other clan and Jermon doesn’t like how they talk down to his brother Crown Prince Erwan because of his relationship with his true mate Rhene, pack alpha of the Hightower pack. When it becomes obvious that the Murphy’s are hiding something and aren’t quite as helpful and honorable as they would like Erwan and his clan to believe Jermon makes sure to step up to help his brother and their clan. It’s even more important now that he and his mates lives are rapidly changing.
I love how honorable our Pack and Clan are. They respect all not just the most powerful. Actually the omegas are held in such high esteem and treated with such care and regard it’s awe inspiring.
I will say that when these men love on each other it raw, animalistic and scorching but obvious how loving and how much they adore their mates. They would move the earth to protect the one’s they love and are true mates with. I loved that we got to continue both Jermon/Wilmer/Riordan’s story along with continuing Erwan and Rhene’s. With their lives changing so much I can’t wait for the next chapter in their lives with the next book in this wonderful series.
I am really excited to learn more about of each of the dragon’s special gifts and for Erwan to reach his full potential as a rare white dragon. Between him and Lidon, as the True Alpha, they are a powerful force to be reckoned with for sure. And I hope they teach those miserable excuses of Alphas in the Murphy Clan a strong lesson and they get what they deserve.
It’s also wonderful that we keep getting visits by Lidon and his pack. This universe that Nora Phoenix has woven is intricate and captivating. Having a dragon clan merger with a wolf pack is truly unique and exciting and I can’t wait for more!
