Matchmaker and reindeer shifter Cupid is used to being able to set up even the most difficult client. So when three dates go wrong for a Mr. Remy Shannon, even in Christmas town where little goes poorly, he decides to take matters into his own hands.
Remy doesn’t want to waste time dating when he knows he’s looking for a true mate. He’s an unusual shifter who needs someone who can handle him, so he’s not willing to play nice social games. But Cupid is right up his alley, and Remy is willing to go the distance to woo him.
When a night of unexpected passion leads to a big surprise for Cupid, he and Remy have to find enough common ground to decide if they’re going to work to appreciate all the gifts that have come their way, or if they’re going to let their joy fade away with the holiday season.
This is a holiday shifter mpreg romance with lot of glitter and a happy ending!
REVIEW:
I loved that Minerva (aka Julia) dedicated this to her wife BA even though she said nope!
Remy just wants a true mate and to have the babies to help continue his thought to be lost Irish Elk species. The most likely to be able to breed with would be a reindeer but that would be like being pregnant with twins or triplets for the smaller omega. And it looks hopeless anyway because he knows after one sniff if they are the one true mate and so far that’s been a giant No! But when the head matchmaker Cupid decides to teach him how to date things take an abrupt turn. Suddenly a surprised heat makes Cupid a very frisky reindeer that Remy is more than happy to accommodate since he’s pretty sure he has found his fated true mate. But how is Remy suppose to react when Cupid comes out of his heat and denies him? Leave to a jolly Santa to set things straight and get the two mates on the right track!!!
This was a short, sweet and steamy novella that was the perfect afternoon read. I loved how Remy knew what he wanted and that Cupid was his one. But Remy was honorable in taking the high road when he was denied even though it hurt him deeply both mentally and physically. And Cupid was suffering too but didn’t know why. I especially loved when Nick would stop by and share tidbits of Christmas wishes he had the inside track on. He definitely had an invested interest in making sure those two wound up together and Cupid opened his eyes to what was going on.
I truly enjoyed this book. It put a huge smile on my face and warmth in my heart.
