When a billionaire and his assistant bring change to the village, Michael has to adapt…
The future’s uncertain for Michael Fleming. He came to the sleepy Yorkshire village of Napthwaite a year ago as Thorpe Hall’s gardener, but now the Hall’s been sold…to billionaire hotelier Darryl Burlington.
When self-made Darryl and his handsome French assistant, François Vernier, come to set up the new property acquisition, they plan to find a willing third party to share their bed. Darryl and François aren’t together, but they like to celebrate success. But instead of indulging themselves in a treat after their hard work, they trigger events which no one could have foreseen.
This chain reaction Darryl, François and Michael leads to big changes in Napthwaite—and in all three men’s lives…
REVIEW:
There will be changes with impact coming to the people of the small village of Napthwaite. Self-made billionaire and Black British Business Award Winner, Darryl Burlington, owner of the Burlington Hotel Group will be the new owner of Napthwaite Thorpe Hall. He and his dedicated French assistant Francois will sleep at Thorn Hall for the time being.
Michael is Thorpe Hall’s gardener, and not sure if he still has a job with this new owner.
One look at the man and Darryl and François know they found their new plaything. In every town where they set up a new project, they had play partners, willing guys who love to join the men in bed.
Darryl and François aren’t together, it would be awkward with work, etc. So they only have sex with a third, never together. Francois takes what he can get, Darryl will never have feelings for him, and François will never confess he loves him, that would be their end.
To keep Michael with them they aren’t clear and honest about their plans for the gardens. François is a sneaky player, he’s a vicious manipulator, with a venomous mouth, determined to all costs to keep Darryl close. Certainly not settle down in this village with small-minded people, and never let Michael come too close, even though he got feelings for the stunningly handsome man with his big heart.
So far so good… not really. We learned already from the previous books of this series, never take the people of Napthwaite for granted. They want to know every possible change with Thorpe Hall.
Michael is happy with these two guys and has big plans for the gardens of Thorpe Hall. If he only knew!
Gosh, this is another impressive story from this series. The interactions between the three men were hot. They fit like a glove. The whole story was consistently written, the characters are exquisite portrayed, certainly François who has a significant role.
The village slash Thorpe Hall matters were captivating, I loved everything about it. We meet the guys from the previous stories again.
Overall a hugely entertaining story, smoothly written, consistent, with hot encounters. I enjoyed it all very much!
