Realizing ‘the bad guy’ is actually their true mate was NOT part of the plan.
Martin knows he’s closed off. It’s easier to keep himself from getting hurt if he keeps everyone at arm’s length, but meeting a beautiful blue-haired man during a hunt changes everything.
Dorian’s entire world turns upside down when he meets two handsome hunters who are hot on his heels. He doesn’t want to be the bad guy, but he’s found himself in a sticky situation that he can’t get out of without a little help.
Despite Martin’s cold exterior, Cooper knows there’s more to him than his muscles and sarcasm. He patiently waits for Martin’s walls to come down, and to his surprise, meeting Dorian is the thing that brings them down. Confessions of true mates and scary first kisses bring them together. Now they just have to figure out how to save Dorian from the circumstances he’s found himself in.
Hunting for Acceptance is book three in A Collection of Hunters. Though this book is a standone, this series is best enjoyed read in order. This MMM story features overcoming one’s guilt over things they can’t control, a siren falling for a couple of hunters, bathtub shenanigans, found family, mpreg, and of course, a happily ever after.
REVIEW:
This series just keeps getting better and better! And finally we get Martin and Cooper’s long awaited HEA with a definite twist I didn’t see coming.
The hunter’s are really being stumped by this new case. People are up and disappearing for a weekend from bars and then suddenly reappear with no memory of what happened the last two days. But the hunters have been so busy with Jeff, their leader, having been turned and finding his true mate in Axel that Lady Fate gave him in the born vampire that took care of him after he became a vampire and them having baby Lily. Then Ronny, their techie geek, rescues a cat that has been hurt and a small kitten that turns out to not only be shifter cats but his true mate Zander and son JJ and brought him baby Jordan to round out his family. Now the group of found family are patiently waiting for Martin and Cooper to stop bickering long enough to realize Lady Fate has plans for the two of them but that needs to wait until they can get this case finished. But when the case leads them directly to Dorian, a beautiful siren, all things change because there is a third to their mating. With Dorian all seems complete but they still need to get this case closed up and help their third find peace.
I have really enjoyed these books. They are a quick read but they have introduced me to a whole new side of supernaturals. I have read shifter books and vampire books but haven’t had much in the magical and mystical side. I had never read or heard of sparks with the powers of magic. Nor have I read anything about the mystical and beautiful sea creatures with blue hair called sirens.
I love that all these guys and their mates are so open and understanding. They accept that there are good supernaturals that deserve to live along side the humans minding their own business. But they will do all in their power to rid the world of the evil ones. They only hunt the bad and killing is the last resort.
I love that they all travel in RV’s and camp where they are hunting for justice. The campfire times, and yes there are toasted marshmallows a plenty, are some of my favorite scenes. This really is a family found and forged to do good and protect.
I am really looking forward to Carlos’ book but worried that Jude is going to try to cause problems with Cooper when he finally has Martin and Dorian. But he better watch himself because not only is Martin smart but he’s built and possessive of his mates he finally has. And Dorian doesn’t seem the type to put up with meddling interlopers either. Plus Carlos deserves his mate too. Can’t hardly wait!
