Stefan’s unique skills make him perfect for me, but can they lead to a lasting relationship?
A sleeping disorder means I keep odd hours. During a late-night conversation, Stefan and I discover we’ve got more in common than we thought: a love of chess, family members who have cast us aside, and a mutual attraction.
For the first time in my life, I’m with someone who sees me. I know I could help Stefan let go of the emotional hurt he’s kept trapped inside for years. At the same time, I need him to empower me through pain.
Stefan is used to being strong for everyone. Will he let me in so I can help him navigate a long-awaited reunion, or will he keep his hurt locked inside?
Keep Me On Edge is an mm romance with housemates who become lovers, edging, pain-play, opinionated housemates, absent family members, and dates as eccentric as Stefan’s clothing. It’s the fourth book in the My Kinky Housemate series, and while it can be enjoyed as a standalone, it’s better to read it as part of the series.
Trigger warnings: mentions of alcoholism and drug use by minor characters, absent parents, and the loss of a parent in the past.
REVIEW:
I adooooore this series. Every story is hugely charming, kinky, spicy, emotional, and super entertaining!
Quinn and Stefan are drawn to each other. They never act on it, but now the time seems right.
Stefan always keeps an eye out on Quinn, Quinn has narcolepsy with cataplexy.
Starting a relationship with Quinn requires reading the manual that comes with him.
Most guys didn’t take the time to read it, and Quinn got hurt on the way. Stefan wants to know everything about it so he can be what Quinn needs. Stefan is a professional Dom, he’s patient, considerate and quickly enamored with Quinn.
Stefan and Beau are twins and living with the other kinky housemates (read previous stories!! Awesomeness!) There are family matters with parents and they are going through a rough time.
All the housemates know each other’s kink, except Quinn’s. He came to live with them somewhat later. Quinn doesn’t open up, it’s almost a game to find out. And oh my, when we get to know them, it fits perfectly.
Central in this story is the blooming relationship between Quinn and Stefan and how they get closer and get to know each other on a deeper level. How they explore their kinky compatibility. Oh yes, they are so compatible! Both guys are adorable and lovable! Along this, we can watch Quinn handle his disorders, and we get to know Stefan, his past, and his broken family, we meet friends and family and everything is just more than amazingly put together! Let’s not forget the interactions with all the housemates! I adore the way this author writes! The feelings were all palpable, even the small hidden ones you could easily oversee, they were present.
Dang, this author does her work thoroughly, she gets deep into the stuff about Quinn’s sleeping disorder, it wasn’t just there, it was a big part of Quinn’s life and masterly developed and entwined with the rest of the content, it’s educational and entertaining! When I read about the road the author made to work out this story, I got goosebumps, the dedication, bow! I’m so glad she finished this story the way it did, because it’s an absolutely stunningly written narrative, with all the feels!
Highly recommended!!
