All bets are off when a wealthy silver fox meets a small town cowboy.
Raffie Mills has loved horses his whole life, and he loves his job at the Blue Bird Ranch training horses. Sure it would be easier for him to find the Daddy of his dreams if he lived somewhere other than the small West Texas town of River Gorge, but he can’t imagine living anywhere else.
But when he wins a trip to Las Vegas for a Daddy weekend from the Cuffd dating app he jumps at the chance to spend a weekend in a big city.
After losing his husband, widower Gabriel Johnson never thought he would be ready to love again, but when he takes a trip to Vegas to blow off some steam, he meets a boy who makes him rethink everything he thought he knew about what he wants.
Suite Dreams is part of the Destination Daddies Season Two multi-author series. It features a simple small-town boy with a love for horses, a wealthy older Daddy who needs someone to spoil, and a chance for happiness risk it all for love. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many destinations and Daddies to discover, why not grab them all?
REVIEW:
This book is a prime example of how great these multi-author book series events are so important. I have absolutely no idea how I have never had the opportunity to read one of Jacki James books but now I am hooked!
Raffle Mills is a hard working young man that loves horses and has the magic touch with them. Reed saw his true potential and snapped him up for his and his husband Ripley’s Bluebird Ranch. But Raffie sees all the Daddy/boy couples surrounding him and longs for his own special someone. But is he just fantasizing about his desires? When he wins the Cuffd adventure in Las Vegas for a Daddy/boy event he will get his opportunity to explore his wishes. Gabe Johnson is a very rich, retired CEO. His life changed drastically six years ago when his husband of twenty years was suddenly and tragically killed in a freak skiing accident. Now he doesn’t have much to keep him busy except looking out for his dear nephew Gavin. But Gavin has his own Daddy Cooper looking after his boy. While Gabe ponders the dynamic he literally has stars aligning for him. But is he really into this or is he just lonely looking for a boy to spoil for a couple days?
I love how Gabe decides a pleasure trip to Vegas will be just the thing for him and then he stumbles on the Cuffd event at the hotel. Then the perfect boy for him, the cowboy from Texas, literally is seated right next to him at the bar looking a tad bit overwhelmed with even ordering a beer. It’s like all the stars aligned for these two and perfection happened. And after the life poor Raffie has had he deserved a Daddy as wonderful and caring as Daddy Gabe.
I didn’t realize until I finished the book that this is two of the author’s highly successful series colliding for a fabulous crossover. I love when those happen. I knew that the supporting characters were well developed. Now that makes sense and I’m falling down a rabbit hole with both series! I know now that Gabe was introduced in the Blue Collar Daddies series when his nephew Gavin and his Daddy Cooper got together but I really want to know Reed and Ripley’s story first!
I have truly enjoyed this series and am so thankful that I decided to take on any of the books that the authors would allow for review. Getting to experience new authors this way is such a wonderful treat and I’m so thankful to have had this opportunity. I highly recommend this book and the entire series. Each one is loosely based on the Cuffd event giveaway but are as uniquely and wonderfully different as the authors and the men they write.
