I should be applying for grad school. Or looking for a job. Anything to get out of my awful rut. But instead, I’m obsessing about the dancer I hooked up with at the ballet studio. Who would have thought a gig playing the piano would lead to the hottest sex of my life? Before we got down to it, I think I promised to help out on a dance concert he’s producing. I was in such a lust haze, I barely remember. He’d better text soon. I wonder if he’s still interested in seeing me in a *very* unprofessional capacity.

I can barely focus on the upcoming dance concert or my move to New York. I’m thinking about that cute pianist instead. Did I tell him that I’m moving? Things happened so fast between us I can’t remember. I’ve never had an experience like that where I was totally unraveled by a stranger. If I wasn’t about to move across the country, I would definitely want to go another round. But I’m leaving, so no more hot domination games with Joshua. I’ve got to keep things professional and not fixate on the way his elegant fingers moved across my body.
One Step Forward, Two Steps Back is the first book in the Ballet Boys series. Each book is a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, I suggest starting with book one.

“So, you wear glasses.”
Joshua touched his face, forgetting he had put them on.
“Yeah, my contacts were bothering me, so I put them on instead.”
“They look good on you.”
Joshua looked from the road to Brandon, who had resumed staring out the window.
“Do you want to listen to music?”
“Sure.” Brandon and Joshua reached for the radio at the same time and their fingers brushed. Their eyes locked and Joshua felt desire roar in his blood. Brandon pulled his hand away and let a deep breath out.
“You’re going to have to stop doing that.” Brandon sighed, leaning his head back.
“What?”
“You have this big bad wolf look you get.”
“I do?” Joshua couldn’t help smiling. Is that how Brandon saw him?
“Yep, like you’re going to eat me up and enjoy doing it.”
“I see.” Joshua was grinning now. “And why do I have to stop? You seem to like the big bad wolf.” He glanced over and saw Brandon blushing.
“That’s the problem. I like it too much. I really want to see the performance. I want you to see it. If you keep looking at me like that, I’ll be tempted to drag you into the nearest corner and get on my knees.”
“Ahhh! Okay.” Damn Brandon for putting that image in his head. Joshua leaned his head back and took a breath. “I hear what you’re saying. I’ll try to keep the wolfiness down to a minimum, but afterwards I’m planning to really wolf it up.” He smiled mischievously at Brandon.
“You’re not making fun of me, are you?”
“Making fun? No, But I’m really tempted to torment you a bit.” He reached over and squeezed Brandon’s leg. “You have a look you get too, and it’s very hard to resist.” He lowered his voice. “You’re doing it now.” Brandon groaned, and Joshua laughed.
