As they work together to find out who is sabotaging Gabai’s business, it becomes too much for Asher. On the run, he crashes, and his wolf makes a life-changing decision.
Now Gabai must decide what is more important, being the man or the Daddy that Asher needs – or maybe he needs both.

REVIEW:
O.M. G. I can’t believe how much I loved this book!
Asher is the Sargent-at-Arms and Head Enforcer of Bree’s MC. He also has a whole slew of issues that most know nothing about. His old pack in Bakersfield really did a number on him. When Gabai, owner of the local BDSM club in Cookietown, has a sudden rash of vandalism, the latest being a personal attack on Gabai’s beloved “Little’s Day Care room”, something has to be done so he calls his dear and trusted friend Bree. Bree says she has just the man of the job. Asher has never set foot in the club and has a special “gift” to help find the culprit that it appears is either a club member or staff. The problem is that Asher has absolutely no desire to go to that club. And then the unspeakable happens when he does…he runs smack into his Fated Mate! Who happens to be the most Daddy Bear he has ever seem!!! How on earth can he hide now???
Asher’s story is one of the most vulnerable and heartbreaking stories I have ever read. I can only compare it to a couple ones that have touched my soul so deeply as to the abhorring abuse that people can and do inflict upon another. Especially by the chicken shit that did it to save his own miserable ass! What went down in Bakersfield was totally justified and even the council gave its seal of approval for a mating retribution. Yes, it was brutal and gruesome, however what was done to Asher was just as gruesome and done by someone he put his entire trust in. A trust that was almost destroyed for the rest of his life. That’s why I lived Gabai so much. Gabai showed extreme patience and gentleness with Asher that allowed him to heal mentally. Would he ever be the same man? Absolutely not! But, with his ability to learn to lean on and learn to somehow have the strength to trust his mate, he has a chance to finally live his life as it should have been. Yes, there will always be triggers (such as the words boy and Daddy) but he found a way, with Gabai helping, to move forward.
This story is gutting and raw. It is the unthinkable being done but it is also a story of retribution well deserved and resilience when you find that one person that you can totally trust and depend upon to protect you and always put you first. I absolutely loved this story but do caution that it has a lot of triggers that make it not necessarily the story for everyone. But it’s a definite winner for me! Now I can’t wait for Cosmo, Nomad and Harley’s story.
