Most fallen angels fell for Lucifer.
I fell to save the boy I was created to protect, trading my freedom—and my soul—for his life.
Sterling, the twisted and immortal alchemist who now owns me, is hellbent on using me as the power source to resurrect his murdered lover. My blood provides enough energy to fuel his dark arts, but as the years wane, he turns to more intimate means that are entirely foreign to me—and his touch ignites a fire within me I wasn’t created to discover.
Now that he’s nearly bled me down to the last drop and still hasn’t succeeded in his blasphemous mission, I should despise him more than ever. And I do. But even though I know it means nothing to a straight man who still yearns for his wife’s embrace, the carnal bond our bodies
have forged has drawn something far more unforgivable to the surface.
I’m beginning to fall for him.
Author’s Note: This is a complete standalone MM Romance between a snarky fallen angel and a morally deficient sorcerer that features omegaverse dynamics (no mpreg), bi awakening, smoking hot demons, and extreme enemies-to-lovers dynamics.

REVIEW:
This is a book about obsession and the twisting turning facets of emotions whereby your head is saying one thing, but your emotions feel another, and your heart is very confused.
Cael was so young, naïve, and innocent when he fell from Heaven and felt nothing but despair, hatred, and fear towards Sterling. Theirs was a twisted symbiotic relationship with Sterling determined that nothing would stop him from resurrecting his wife, no act was too depraved, any black magic was worth seeking out, he’d long accepted that he was damming himself, but he felt this was price worth paying. On the one hand for his wife to instill such love, devotion and loyalty to her husband, but the lengths he went about to was completely beyond any moral compunction which made me wonder, if she had lived, would he have still turned to the dark arts as he seemed very predisposed to them.
I enjoyed Cael’s development from young and naïve, to snarky looking for all the ways he could push Sterling’s buttons and despite his developing feelings, he is under no illusions about Sterling’s motivation.
Sterling on the other hand was a lot harder to like, in fact, I pretty much disliked him for 99% of the book. He was so driven towards his goal; he had no time to look at alternatives and hid from himself and his burgeoning feelings. A definite head in the sand, no, not happening, la la la la moments. To be quickly squashed anytime his pesky feelings raised their heads.
The romance was handled so well, it’s not hearts and flowers much more conflicted, self-loathing for having feelings and guilt. The hardships and servitude were not glossed over in fact they formed the basis for both their conflicted feelings. It’s also not instant fated mates as it was centuries in the making.
I found the premise of Angel Omega’s intriguing as it’s common in Werewolf lore, but I’ve never come across it regarding Angel’s. It gave an interesting twist to the story when I’d thought I already knew what was going on.
I surprised myself by liking this book as it’s not something I would normally go for. It’s well written and faces the consequences of actions head on. If you like a dark and twisted dynamic, then I think you would enjoy this book.
