Patrick Holmes’s experience using the Cuffd app has left him wary of putting himself out there. Then he gets a message on the app that changes his mind. Akker is everything Patrick has dreamed of, with only one problem: he lives in Italy while Patrick is in London. Cuffd appears to have the answer when they offer up the chance to win a paid holiday to the hotel Akker works in. Against all the odds, Patrick wins the holiday, but will Akker be disappointed when they finally meet face to face?
Akker Carlson’s life has taken an unexpected turn. His father wants him to take over the family hotel business, and while he’s still reeling from that bombshell, he meets a boy who captures his full attention, something that hasn’t happened to him in a very long time. Akker uses his connections to Cuffd to devise a plan to get Patrick to Italy. Will his finagling work against him when a blast from Patrick’s past turns up on the same holiday? He’s about to find out.
Agrippa My Heart is part of the Destination Daddies Season Two multi-author series. It features a Daddy who learns that sometimes even his deepest desires are still awaiting exploration and a little who needs permission to let go. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many destinations and Daddies to discover, why not grab them all?
REVIEW:
I love that season two brought us Jessie’s roommate Patrick’s story.
Patrick has had a bad run of it. An evil man posing as a daddy was the icing on the cake. Now his hopes for finding the perfect daddy for his Little Patty seems like a long lost dream. He won’t put himself out there to be abused again. When a series of coincidences lead to Akker finally reaching out on the Cuffd app these two hit it off right out the gate. Now he just has to get Cutie Pie to Italy and convince him they are made for each other. And not have him flee the moment Patrick realizes all Akker has done to get his boy!
This was a sweet Daddy/boy story that made my heart swoon. Akker was definitely the right daddy for his little Patty. All the pieces fell into place but I was worried for several of the moments in this delightful book. I know that Akker manipulated a lot of things to make sure he got his boy. And money can definitely make that happen along with some well placed friends to help insure it did. I liked that this Holiday let Patty explore their Little side without fear of embarrassment or judgement. Getting to know Selby and Ricky, along with their daddies, was freeing. I’m also so thankful that Akker was able to arrange safe excursions away from the disgusting and manipulative Wayne. Hopefully, after his horrible behavior at the event, Wayne will finally be outed from all Cuffd events and made known in the England circles. I know Selby and Gary, along with Barnaby, have him on radar and can hopefully make it more known too.
I will admit that I was worried that Wayne had somehow influenced Patrick’s boss Randel and that was why he was acting like he was. I guess he was just a bully that must have been incompetent so he took it out on poor Patrick to take the spotlight off himself. I still don’t know how the higher ups never caught wind of the mental and verbal abuse that was happening when everyone else in the department saw it clearly. Thankfully Akker helped with this problem too!
I also really appreciated that Beau, Jessie and Smithy were an intricate part of this story. The three roommates have been there for each other since they were young and need to be part of each other’s lives going forward after they meet their true daddies. Each boy might be part of the daddy/boy spectrum but their kink varies quite differently. But they will always be there for each other. It was sweet that Akker made sure that not only did Patrick feel like he had options if something happened to separate them (not happening with Daddy Akker in charge!) but that he made sure Beau was taken care of. I can’t wait for Beau’s story!
If all this season’s Destination Daddies books are as wonderful as this one then I’m in line for a summer filled with great books because this one was a true winner! I hope you love it as much as I did because it agrippa my heart too 💕
