I love that we got another piece of The Tap Tavern universe that Sammi Cee has carefully constructed of our favorite “boys” and their “Wanted” Daddies!
Hayden is a brat through and through. He knows it’s a coping mechanism because good looks can’t last forever and he has nothing real to offer a mate. Thankfully Daddy Waylan “Mr. Delicious” sees right through his bratty exterior to the sweet, hurting boy that no one wants. He has carefully amassed his business and wealth beyond what he will ever need but is missing the most important piece…a boy who truly needs him!
I did love this quick novella. Although short, it helped us gain insight to why Hayden acts the way he does. It’s a defense mechanism for the hurt of losing his treasured grandparents then having his parents turn on him. Thankfully he had his grandparents as an example of what true love and devotion were really suppose to look and feel like.
I also loved that we got to see Toby living his dream of being the gifted caterer that he is along side his “Patient Daddy” Samuel watching his boy’s back. Of course Christian was promoting and encouraging Toby. I can’t wait for his story.
This sweet novella had just the right amount of sass and spice and was a perfect compliment to this wonderful series. Plus, you get this novella, along with stories from 25 other authors, in the newest Dirty Daddies Pride 2022 anthology.
