Nathan had always loved his twin brother. How could he not? They had been inseparable since before birth. They’d shaped each other. Were each other’s homes.
But even love, Nathan knew, could go too far. Too deep. So he had tried to keep his distance—had gone to a different college, tried to make a life without his brother.
Now that they’re both back home for summer, though, Nathan doesn’t know how to escape the way he feels…or the way his brother might feel in return.
REVIEW:
A very short novella of twin brothers that discovery their twin is the only one for them.
Nathan has always loved Simon. They have been together since the moment they were both conceived. Being mirror twins might mean they look alike but they a vastly different. Nathan is a nerdy academic that is studying to become a veterinarian. He has always loved animals and this is his ticket. He knows he’s a nerd and owns it. Simon is the golden twin. Talented at sports and outgoing. He can talk to anyone. But Simon has a secret that Nathan had absolutely no clue about. He can’t be separated from his twin. Their year away from each other, because Nathan figured he had to or his secret desires for Simon should come out and ruin everything, was his only solution. What happens when both boys secrets finally spill out everything one night and give into their desires for one another? But can they survive the fallout?
I get where Nathan always felt like he was Simon’s shadow. Simon is popular and a talented athlete. But he never realized that it was actually the other way around. Simon couldn’t function with out his twin being present. Although it was hard on each twin being separated for a year away at different colleges I think that was the driving force to finally be honest with each other. Nathan thought he was sick and twisted and forced the separation but it wasn’t what either wanted.
The part, when they went on the college tour was a bit over the top for me and the explanation made it make a bit more sense.
This book is not for everybody. It is a book of incest between two twin brother’s. If that is offensive to you this is not a book you should choose. However, if that doesn’t bother you then this is a quick book of two brothers that mean everything to the other.
