Damian was getting careless.

He won’t give in. He can’t. Although his body threatened mutiny, he took several deep breaths, trying to calm down. Sasha fought viciously through the thick, syrupy fog of his brain and clung to reason and rationality.
They couldn’t be mates. The fate of everyone’s life depended on it. Sasha groaned, pressing a hand against his stomach. He knew exactly what he was. A mutant. A freak. Damian would be horrified when he found out what Sasha actually was. The thing was, Sasha can never tell him. If he did, Damian would be dead and so would everyone in the Barbaric Prowlers. The curse prevented him from speaking about it, courtesy of his mother.
Sasha was cursed. He alone would bring forth the apocalypse. No. Don’t go there. Sasha straightened, his throat bobbed, and he forced his expression back into neutrality.
Damian would find someone else. Something younger, prettier. There were hundreds of omega girls lined up around the block waiting for their chance to be with him.
