Blog Tour, Exclusive Excerpt & Giveaway: Embrace Me by Beck Grey
Love in the Pacific Northwest, Book 2
Tadhg:
After a nasty breakup with my manipulative ex, I returned home to Seattle to lick my wounds. I’m done with relationships. From now on I’m focusing on my career.
There are just a few problems with this.
One, it’s not that easy for a Deaf man to succeed in a Hearing world, even with the right degree and experience.
Two, Quinn MacDougall. He’s my co-worker. He’s also incredibly talented, driven, and distractingly handsome.
Three, he’s hearing. And that’s the biggest problem of all. Can someone who isn’t Deaf ever truly understand and accept me?

Quinn:
Nothing is more important to me than family, and someday I’ll have my own. Well, I will, If I can ever find the right guy. Sadly, I can’t seem to make family and romance mesh. So for now, I’m concentrating on my career and getting a promotion at work. That is until my company hires a hot-shot architect with all the right credentials to easily snag the position.
I should resent him, but Tadhg Byrne is supremely talented and incredibly sweet. He’s also drop-dead gorgeous. And even though we have a ton in common I can’t ask him out. Why? We work together, and that’s just a disaster waiting to happen.
Plus, there’s the communication issue. He’s Deaf, my ASL is rusty as hell, and he’s just been through a really bad breakup. How could I possibly convince him to take a chance again with me?

Without hesitation, Tadhg dives in, his beautiful body breaking the surface quietly. I watch him swim to the other side, execute a perfect flip, and swim back to tag the wall and hold on to the edge, signing one-handed. ‘Alright, I’m in.’ I move closer until there is less than a foot of space between us. How is this man even real? I glance at his parted lips and feel his breath on my wet skin. I reach out and trace his tattoo with my fingertips. It’s raised instead of flush, and that usually means it’s new. ‘This is beautiful.’ He shivers a little and I glance up. Our eyes lock, and I inhale sharply at the unmistakable lust in his gaze. ‘Thanks. I got it a few weeks ago. It’s a Celtic dragon.’ I can’t stop touching it; touching him. ‘It’s beautiful. Do you have any others?’ He shakes his head. ‘No, just this. I’d always thought about getting one, but I wasn’t sure what I’d want permanently marked on my body.’ I glance at the tattoo and fight the urge to press my lips against it and taste his skin. ‘So, why this, then?’ ‘They symbolize wisdom and power.’ He’s very close now. Any closer and we couldn’t sign. I haven’t been able to stop my fingers from tracing over the dark lines, and he hasn’t pulled away. ‘And that’s something you have, or something you want?’ ‘A bit of both, I guess. It’s a reminder that I’m smart and strong enough to do what needs to be done, but it’s also what I should strive for.’ He shrugs and I feel his muscles flex under my fingertips. ‘I suppose it’s both a reminder and a manifestation?’ I nod and lean a little closer. Tadhg licks his lips, and looks at mine, then smiles. ‘Ready?’ It takes a minute for my brain to process the question. Swimming. Right. He smiles and I swear under my breath because his dimples are going to kill me. I push back and put some distance between us. ‘Which stroke?’ His eyes sparkle in the pool light. ‘You pick.’
