A cryptic note is the only clue to his identity. And now he’s falling for the man who took his memories.
Levi Owens woke up in a hospital a year ago with no memories and nobody to claim him. The only thing in his pockets was a handwritten note with one word: Twin???
Starting his life over from scratch, Levi discovers a talent for crime and uses those skills to search for this supposed twin, hoping it’ll help him find himself. Levi avoids all relationships, not knowing whom to trust, but when a rushed break-in gets him caught, he meets a man who makes him want something more.
Nash Turner made a horrible mistake a year ago, one that nearly cost a boy his life. When Levi shows up in Nash’s office with no memory of what happened, Nash knows the time is coming to finally pay for what he did. But Levi is also a temptation, one that Nash can’t resist.
Will Nash help Levi find the truth and risk their happily ever after?
Found Missing is the second book in the Gentleman Hackers series. It features a gentle daddy with a guilty secret, a lost boy in need of love, a major identity crisis, and an HEA ending. And Levi totally loves stuffies and cuddles, even if he won’t admit it out loud.
REVIEW:
This series just keeps edging at my boundaries and pushing me to accept more!
Nash Turner has never accepted the fact that his one moment of immorality pushed him to be scared and shot a boy. Now he is still the owner/founder of Turner Security but no longer can force himself to touch a gun let alone carry one. So he’s stuck in his office all day living with the regret he can’t get past over the last year.
Levi Owens woke up in a hospital bed a year ago with a traumatic brain injury and total amnesia. The only things he knows are that he’s seems to be some kind of hacker genius and that everything he knows and has can be zipped up in a single backpack. Oh…and that he’s transgender and might have a twin???
When the two men meet again, after a bungled break-in attempt, there is just something there that calls to the other. But can they make a go when one is hiding what really happened and the other is struggling about what and who he is? And how do a trans guy and a gay guy make it even work?
I had wondered who Nash was when he was helping Brendan with his cyber stalker turned boyfriend in Restored Ruins. And it was great to see Connor helping Levi come to grips with himself as not only a transgender guy but also his unique gifts as a Tanasian. Those two had so much in common and Connor was a great resource and teacher for Levi.
Nash’s unconditional acceptance for who and what Levi were was touching. Having been a gay man all his life I could see where Levi would question how he could accept him for what he truly was. And I don’t think it was the guilt but a true connection that led them to be together.
I am wondering if all of Grim’s Gentlemen Hackers are all somewhat connected in real life and he has figured that out so that he must keep rules to keep them all separated. It will be interesting to see in future books. They all seem to have special and uniques powers/magic for sure. Maybe that’s why they are such great computer genius’s?
I am the first one to admit I know little to nothing about transgender and all it entails. I try to be respectful to all things new on my reviews and hope to not offend anyone as I make this journey into discovering more.
