Watch out for the Assassin’s Claws…
Five Portuguese cat shifter brothers… paid killers who only target society’s worst targets, probably shouldn’t be as downright fun to spend time with as these ones. It’s the family business—they fight together, they die together.
Whether they’re working as a group or alone, the Moreno brothers are a tight unit who protect their own. Are there dark scenes where bad guys get what’s coming to them? Absolutely. There are also way too many moments of absurd hilarity, hijinks and pure joy. And there’s the ninja bunnies…
This bundle includes all five books of the Assassin’s Claws series in its entirety, 177k words in total, so get ready to settle in and binge a series that will keep you on the edge of your seat, turning pages and laughing. Books included:
Walk Tall—Clay Moreno is hired to assassinate the American president. He knew the case was going to be tough, but the last thing he expected to find was his mate… the president’s own son.
Stand Out—Introverted omega Gib Moreno is a stealthy assassin who’s far from thrilled to find his true mate while on a job. Especially when his mate is someone as loud and well-known as HRH Prince Partypants.
Kick Back—Ginger-haired omega Dear Moreno is known for two things: his sassy wardrobe and his snark. Wanting to find out who wants a priest taken out, Dear never expects to discover the priest is his true mate.
Jump Up—When the brothers are tasked to rescue an pregnant, imprisoned omega, Nash Moreno is shocked when he’s his true mate.
Dance Around—Dan Moreno scented his true mate two decades earlier… and ruined his chance, creating an enemy instead. Forced to work together, their secret is out and both of their families are calling them idiots.
Note: While mpreg exists in this world, there isn’t a birth in every book. But what every book does have is killer cats, ninja bunnies and life-changing mating bites. Get ready for naughty-knotty fun and low-ball humor as only Susi Hawke can provide.
REVIEW:
Five fabulous Suzi Hawke books that I get to read back-to-back without waiting! Lucky Me 💕
Walk Talk: When Clay Moreno literally draws the short straw he heads off on his mission to assassinate the sitting President of the United States. He must stop the man before he shares their secret with the whole world…that there are shifters living amongst the population. His best chance is through the man’s gay son. What he doesn’t expect is to find his true mate that is not only human but the president’s son!
Stand Out: Quiet Gifflet “Gib” Moreno is the youngest Moreno Assassin brothers and also an omega. When their handler Marty needs to have him only do a contract he doesn’t realize that the mark is casing the well-known HRH Darius Aurea, prince of the island nation of Aurelia, AKA Prince Partypants. But when Gib is suddenly overcome by the scent of the prince in pair of painted on leather pants twerking of all things he knows he will eventually be screwed. Then he discovers that, not only is the Prince his true mate but he and the prince’s son, a son he never knew he had, had been kidnapped and being held for ransom by his sleazy mark!
Kick Back: Gorgeous and always impeccably dressed Dearil “Dear” Moreno is the other omega brother of the five Moreno Assassin brothers. When the family gets a call for a new hit they take it but only because it is the close friend of Gib’s true mate Darius. The priest from his hometown showed Gib and Prince Darius what he had been up to when they came to visit. He is the underground operator of the stop in Aurelia. Nate has decided to leave the church but now his life is in mortal danger. Gib and his brothers Dear and Nash go to Aurelia with Darius to protect the Priest, Father Nate Clarence, but that protection takes on a stronger meaning when Dear and Nate realize in one sniff that they have found their true mate. Now it is the entire Moreno family’s duty to protect their newest member. But how will the atheist Dear and the devote Nate make a go of it?
Jump Up: Nash Moreno is one of the Alpha brothers of the five Moreno Assassin brothers. Now that three of his brothers have found their true mates he’s happy for them but a bit jealous too. Sex he can have any time. But curling up and cuddling with your one true mate is something he silently longs for. When Morty not only brings Gil over to talk to all five brothers (I like how the pumas and the ninja bunnies are starting to make nice) it’s obvious that two things must happen: (1) OPEN EYES must be taken down and destroyed or all-out war is sure to occur. And (2) Gil’s Blythe brood of ninja bunnies and the Moreno brothers have to play nice with each other. There is way too much at stake to mess this up over petty feuding! When Nash goes in to help rescue the very pregnant and neglected omega he’s in for the surprise of his life! Not only is the young man ready to burst but he’s his true mate!
Dance Around: In this fifth and final book in the series we get a lot of answers finally. The biggest being why Dan and Gil keep feuding. All the other brothers have made peace with Gil and his brood. However Dan and Gil are like oil and water…or are they??? As we got the scoop in the texting between brothers Nash and Dear in the last pages of book 4, Gil and Dan are true mates that have been ignoring it for 23 years! How the heck do you even do that? Now that they are in front of the Council for COME things are coming to light and Dan is being forced to examine his why’s and go talk it out with Gil.
I have loved this entire series filled with intrigue, danger, assassins and ninja bunnies. But what I have truly loved was watching each brother find his true mate in the most unorthodox and unique situations. These five love stories are totally interconnected and need to be read in order. With this wonderful boxed collection you get them all together. And trust me…you won’t want to miss a single moment!
