After one date, I realized that would never be enough…
Lucky Maguire
I started Lucky Match, a dating service, as an enjoyable way to earn some extra cash. That’s how I ended up on a date with my super hot Economics Professor.
Here’s my three step plan to seduce my teacher:
Convince Hayes to fake date me.
Inform him that we were never fake dating; it was always real.
Make him fall in love with me.
How many dates will it take for Hayes to realize I’m his lucky match?
Hayes Brantley
After my divorce, I decided it’s time for a change. After missing being with a man for the past twelve years of my loveless marriage, I’m finally free to make up for lost time.
I called Lucky Match to hookup with someone who looks like the sexy student I can’t stop fantasizing about. I had no idea I’d end up with the real deal.
Is a second chance at love worth risking my career and another broken heart?
Lucky Match is a gay male escort romance with an HEA. This sweet heat, teacher/student story includes college roommates, meddling brothers, fake dating, a wise aunt full of Irish wisdom, an epic karaoke battle, and a pride parade.
REVIEW:
That was a super-fast-paced story, quite on the light side, and quite sweet.
I wasn’t swooned off my feet by this story, but it was a nice read.
The university isn’t LGBTQ friendly, on his first evening out Lucky experienced it the hard way, it took him a week to recover. Together with his roommate Cyan and the brothers Reid and Riley, they move from campus to Lucky’s aunt Sadie’s house. Much safer!
His Economic Professor is a sight to the eyes, Lucky tries everything to get his attention.
Newly divorced Hayes can’t take his eyes off his student Lucky, it’s the only thing allowed, nothing more can ever happen.
For a school project, Lucky creates Lucky Match, a dating service. Guess who called Lucky Match for a date? Yes, Hayes.
Hayes is shocked when he finds out his date is Lucky. Lucky convinced him it was alright and nothing will happen. Not quite honest, Lucky has also in mind to conquer this sweet Professor.
Lucky is a happy soul, always looking at the bright side.
The emotional balance between Lucky and Hayes felt a bit strange. Lucky was the one who took the lead. Hayes felt a bit weak, emotionally immature, and insecure.
I couldn’t connect with them as a couple. I expected something different and more complicated with a professor-student content.
It’s a super light read, everything was fast-paced, and the whole story is non to minimal development. Lucky is the sunshine of this story. It’s the first of a series, I enjoyed it but will keep it at this one.
