When it comes to book smarts, I’ll never be anyone’s first choice.
Luckily, when a wealthy and dangerous stranger picks me off the street to work for him, he uses me for my body, not my brains.
KIT
I’m the bait tasked with luring men into his trap.
I have no idea what he does with them.
I don’t want to know.
Until the night he tells me to run, but I stay.
Now I know what he’s really capable of…the blood on his hands…
But the danger, being part of something so exciting, only makes me want him more.
SULLY
My life was simple before he swishes his way into it with his catsuits and kitty ear headbands.
I’m only interested in the men he gets me close enough to kill.
Until he pounces in my lap, meows at me, and changes everything.
I’m straight, but I want him.
I send him to lure men, but they must not touch him.
I take pleasure in seeing them want him, but know they’ll never have him.
This cat-and-mouse game between us can only end one way. Should I let him go before his innocence gets stained by the darkness of my world?
Lure is the first book in The Hitman’s Bait series with a grumpy hitman and the boy he hires to lure men into a trap. All books in this series will be of the same couple, and each book will end with an HFN. Each book will follow a different lead. There is no cheating and no breakups between the main characters. The couple enjoys exhibitionism and playing flirtatious games with other men, observing strict rules of a no-touch policy, but watching is absolutely free.
REVIEW:
Sully is a grumpy rich guy and the offer he made Kit isn’t one to resist. When Sully laid eyes on Kit, standing under the streetlights in his all-revealing outfit, with his kitty ears and matching collar, he knew this beautiful guy was the one for the job.
So Kit is a hooker, well, going along with Sully, not anymore. It excites him to work for Sully, no more pimps, no selling his body, maybe only sometimes when it’s necessary for the job.
We understand Sully is doing something shady. It’s just later we get to know what exactly and even more importantly why he’s doing this. Believe me, it’s shady and deadly.
Kit has to lure men in so Sully can finish his job. Sully should stay away from Kit when he’s on the job, but when dirty old men want to feel Kit up, it was over. He can’t anymore.
Working for Sully gives Kit a headache. The man takes care of him, but at the same time, he keeps his distance. Even Sully has his limits, Kit is such a beautiful, endearing, and sensual personality.
Watch them when they explore their relationship, what they like, prefer, or love. I can tell because it’s in the blurb, there’s a scene with exhibition and it’s awesome. There is more what they like but that’s where I stop telling, it’s hot. Read it yourself.
Kit is the sweetest kitty ever, and surprisingly Sully is a natural caretaker. I love me some kitty play, it was all very attractive played out.
While Sully wants Kit out of the job, he needs him now more than ever to catch a big shark.
Well, that was one entertaining story, there is some action because of the job, but it’s more about the fun, the attraction, the tension between the men. Where one drives the other crazy. Where one is protective af, where one says things all the wrong way, where one should listen but is stubborn to listen. The hurt comfort is very presentable and palpable. Their lovemaking was appetizing and hot.
The whole story was smoothly written, enough developed, with the most lovable characters, not every part of them is revealed, the story is part of a series, so we get to know them even more.
Let’s not forget to mention Liam, Sully’s partner in crime, he’s adorable, there’s another character, Kit’s friend I hope to meet again.
So far I loved this narrative, I loved the characters and I loved the course of the story!
