BLURB:
Keith Russo is just a marketing guy looking to make the nights a little less lonely when he calls up the sex hotline. He shouldn’t be so pathetically desperate for human interaction, especially not when he’s about to go to Tokyo to work for the U.S. men’s soccer team in the 2024 Olympics. But the voice spilling filthy promises into his ear and calling him “daddy” is addicting. And strangely familiar…
Juro Ando is just trying to pay the bills. He’s not struggling as an artist anymore, but the pathetic men who call the sex hotline asking for “Kitten” to purr in their ears practically throw cash at him. It’s easy money — at least until the voice on the other end of the line is a little too identifiable. No amount of nicknames can keep Juro from recognizing the childhood friend who broke his heart. But this is just about the worst way they could possibly reunite. Is there any hope of a second chance like this?
REVIEW:
Keith is the marketing manager of the U.S. Olympic soccer team. He’s lonely and needs a way to fill his nights. A sex hotline. The guy on the other side of the line sounds familiar, he sounds hot, sexy and says some delicious filthy things. Just what Keith needs, but that voice…
Juro knows the guy on the other side it’s Keith, his former best friend who left and never contact him again. Still, they have the hottest time online. Keith pays and pays for all the dirty talk.
Juro is happy to deliver everything to Keith, especially to call him Daddy.
When Keith travels to Tokyo for the Olympics Juro takes a chance and surprises Keith with a visit.
There are a few questions: can they really reunite after all these years and what happened over the phone, why can’t Juro show his face in public, and what will happen after the Olympics.
I enjoyed this story but there were things I had trouble with. The story was consistently vague, nothing was clear, the conversations, the relationship, the job, nobody talks clearly. Nobody speaks out what they mean. I had big trouble with this, it was all underdeveloped and too vague, it took the flow out of the story. To be honest, I didn’t like both guys much, maybe because of the underdevelopment, I didn’t dislike them, but I didn’t understand their motives, I couldn’t feel a connection, even with all the sexual encounters.
What I did like were all the emotional hurtful moments, the doubts, the trouble to ask for something, these were really well written and palpable, I love me some good hurt. So yeah that leveled the story up.
The end was nicely done, at last, there was some clarity.
