REVIEW:
Eric is a little who is approaching 40 and hasn’t found his forever daddy. As a last ditch effort, he agrees to go to a club with his bestie, Cody, aka Codfish. He’s nervous because he’s older and not as fit as some of the other littles but he’s willing to give it one last shot before he gives up. He meets a new friend there and is having a good time when a gorgeous guy shows up. And he’s kind of shocked when the guy asks to watch out for him and read to him in the play garden. They guy is much younger and Eric notices he has a slight limp – but that doesn’t matter. He’s really attracted to the guy – who tells him his name is Sawyer.
Sawyer has had a bad break and lost his leg while he was in the Marines. He’s back and the depression is mostly behind him. His bestie Aaron is determined to make sure he gets on with his life. Sawyer’s not sure how a broken guy like him can go back to being an effective daddy dom after his injury. He’s fit, but the leg still bothers him and he’s still adjusting to the prosthesis and his life post the Marines. To get Aaron off his back, he agrees to go to a new club with him. He’s positive he won’t find anything there for him. But when he looks in the playroom, he seems the most beautiful little with striking blue eyes that is totally unexpected. The guy is older than him and so he probably isn’t interested, but Sawyer can’t help but introduce himself. Surprisingly Eric does seem to enjoy his attentions. They trade numbers at the end of the night and things go from there.
Fairly quickly they are in a routine of texting and talking. Eric is worried that Sawyer won’t like is apartment as former boyfriends have made fun of or belittled Eric’s place. Sawyer is nervous about Eric seeing the actual damage to his body. They spend weekends together and Sawyer quickly takes over a lot of the care that Eric craves. It takes him some time to be able to share his body with Eric – and in the end it’s out of his hands when it happens. He’s shocked by Eric’s acceptance.
Things are going along really really well with Eric reveling in Sawyer’s control and care. Sawyer has found a new lease on life with Eric as his little prince. Of course their has to be some fly in the ointment – and in this case it comes from the outside. But luckily Eric with support from Aaron and Cody won’t allow a bad experience to ruin what is the best thing in his life.
So, I wanted to like this more than I did. I just think maybe this particular thing is not my thing. For those who enjoy Daddy/Littles and ABDL, you will probably enjoy this. The narration is very good – well performed voice characterizations for Eric – in both adult and little space in particular. Eric is very sweet and he’s a bit needy which Sawyer is happy to fulfill those needs. Cody is a fantastic supportive friend. Aaron is a kick-ass BFF who isn’t going to let Sawyer throw away the best thing that’s happened to him. The relationship moves pretty fast. I didn’t love it, but for those who enjoy this type of daddy/little story, you may have a different reaction all together.
